Picture's From A Day At The Beach! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

On Wednesday 3rd of July, I went to the Beach!

So, there were just a few picture's I took when I went to Swanage and Studland Bay for the day. I went on a Geography trip, so obviously it wasn't the most exciting day, but I wanted to show you the picture's anyway. It was also a bit cloudy, but it did brighten up at the end of the day, and got really warm!

We first went on this long walk, it was like 4 miles or something? And then we had to measure some stuff on the Beach...oh what fun! ;) Then we finished the day with Ice Cream and Fish 'N' Chips.

Bit of a random post today, but tell me if you like these kind of posts?! I will definitely do more. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Lush: Dorothy Bubble Bar Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So it's Monday, and you know what that means? A Lush product review! I'm really getting into writing these, and thinking about reviewing a product on Thursday too? I'm always gonna review one on Monday, but Thursday could be a bonus day? When I sort out my Blog post schedule, later on today, I'll think about it! ;) You can purchase Dorothy HERE on the LUSH website, if you want to, of course.

This is Dorothy. I've got two pictures showing Dorothy, the top one is a picture I took just before I used it, and the bottom picture is a picture from when I first brought it. Why on earth has it faded?! It has never been near any light or anything...how strange. This is slightly annoying, as it definitely affected the colour the water turned. *Note to self: Use it as soon as you buy it*.

Anyway, Dorothy is a really, lovely Bubble Bar, which is a good size for the price, it's only £2.99, and the Bubble Bar is quite big! The scent of Dorothy is really lovely. I don't know how to describe it, other than it is a really soft-sweet scent, which made the Bathroom smell lovely for a while. It's main ingredient is 'Ylang Ylang' oil, which could describe the fresh scent to it. Seeing as it's not a very strong scent (good for people who suffer with headaches!), it doesn't linger on the skin for too long, not pleasing to me though.

Dorothy also gave me lots of lovely Baths. I managed to crumble Dorothy, under the running water for 7 Baths...isn't that a good number for the cheap price? I think so!
For the number of Baths you got out of it, the number of Bubbles, was also pretty impressive. The Rainbow part of Dorothy produced Red Bubbles (which slowly got lighter as it went through the Orange and Yellow) and the Bubbles were soft and it felt like the Water had a creamy texture, which I think made the skin slightly more softer.

I'd heard loads of reviews that people had got bright Blue Water, and when crumbling the base of Dorothy into the Bath, no colour really came. It was such a pale Blue, it was just basically the colour of the Water. It didn't even affect how much of the Bubble Bar you put in. I was really looking forward to my bright Blue bath, and because of the base fading, this never came! Therefore, it was quite frankly, not worth taking a picture of.

Apart from the disappointment of no Blue water, I did very much enjoy this Bubble Bar. Next time I go to buy it (very soon, probably!), I'm definitely going to use it quickly, I don't want it to fade again. Which shouldn't really happen though should it? Annoying.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you are enjoying Lush review Monday's!

Summer Nails! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So today's post is a really, really quick one! Who remembers back in June when I did a post on my favourite Summer Nail Varnishes? Well, I said I would do a separate post with swatches of the colours, so this is that post. It is a little delayed, but better late than never, right?! ;) HERE is the link, to the post where I wrote about my favourite Summer Nail Varnishes.

So from Left to Right we have...Maybelline 170 Flamant Rose, Barry M 294 Cyan Blue, Barry M 317 Greenberry, Barry M 296 Coral and Models Own Bubblegum. So now you can see how lovely the colours actually are. I know you can't see the Models Own one too well, being such a fluorescent colour, it didn't work well with my camera...but just imagine it to be a bright fluorescent Pink, too bright for your eyes! ;)

I really hope you enjoyed this really quick post. Thanks for reading!

OOTD: Skater Skirt & Vans! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

As promised in yesterday's post, today's post is an OOTD. Yesterday I went for a nice meal out with my family, and I thought I would show you what I wore to the meal.
For my Top, I wore this really pretty Crop Top, with flowers on (are they roses? Can't really tell) and this is from New Look. My Mum recently brought it for me, so you can probably still go get it, if you want too! You can also see in this picture, that I have my Hair down, I just clipped a bit of my Hair, to the side.
For my bottom half, I wore this light blue denim skater skirt from Topshop. I love, love, love this! You can actually style it in so many ways, for Winter and for Summer. It was only £20 too!
Odd socks...awks:/
For my shoes, I decided to wear my bright, Mint Green Vans (told you I had an obsession with the colour Mint Green!) and I recently brought them in the Next sale. They were supposed to be £48, but I think I got them for around £25?! Quite a bargain if you ask me! And do you remember way back in March, when I did a  wishlist and included them in it?!
So, this is my full outfit. What do you think? I also painted my Nails Pink, with an accent nail of a bright Mint Green, to match my shoes. Both colours are the Gelly Hi-Shine, by Barry M.

So yeah! Just a quick OOTD post. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!

Things I'm Currently Loving! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So today is going to be a quick post about things I'm currently loving, a bit like a favourites post. *I did write this ages ago, but only got round to uploading it, sorry!*

So first of all, I've been loving my Soap and Glory Sugar Crush body wash. I got this for Christmas and have only started using it. It smells amazing (quite a strong scent!) and is quite a creamy wash, so it feels like it makes the skin smoother too, it's just lovely! I also like using it with the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush body scrub, they are a really nice combination!
Another thing I have been loving is the colour Mint Green. I've literally been obsessing over it. I love clothes that are Mint Green, I love painting my Nails Mint Green, I keep seeing this Mini going round that is Mint Green, and Mini's are my favourite ever, cars. I've also seen this Six Former walking round my School with a mint green bag, and I want it so bad! I've seen a similar one on Accessorize, but it's out of stock. I'm so upset! I've even brought some Mint Green Vans from the Next sale!

A few Apps I have been loving recently are Candy Crush. At first, I didn't see the big fuss, but after a few levels, it did get a bit addictive and can't stop playing it...someone has to help me! Another App called Flow, it's so addictive too! I'm always constantly playing it and it's good if your bored on a train journey, or if your lying in Bed in the morning or something! Finally one I use on my iPad...Video Star. I just love making stupid videos with my friends on it to lots of different songs and it's so fun!

Some TV programmes I've been loving recently are Waterloo Road. I know this has been off TV for a while now, but I was literally so addicted to the series! I couldn't ever wait until the next week's episode. It was a really good series, but so upsetting Tom dying in the last episode (sorry if you haven't seen it!). I can't wait until it starts again...super excited for that! The other programme I loved watching was Happy Families. This has been off TV for the same amount of time as Waterloo Road, but it was another good programme. It was so interesting watching normal families day to day lives. I really hope there's another series. It was also quite a funny programme!

Finally...Music. I've been loving The Saturday's new song 'Gentlemen', it's just so catchy, and one you can just sing and dance along too! I've also been loving Union J's 'Carry You'. I always find myself singing along to this and constantly loving it. I've also been loving 'Treasure', by Bruno Mars. It's just such an upbeat song, which always puts you in a good mood and makes you want to get up and start dancing. Finally, I've also been loving and listening to John Newman 'Love Me Again', this is also so catchy!

So that is some of my favourite things I've been loving recently! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

P.S- OOTD coming tomorrow woop! :D

Lush: Fizzbanger Bath Ballistic Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So it's a Monday, and we are finally back to our weekly Lush reviews. I'm thinking about doing two a week? Because having more time off, I will be able to write more and use more products. However, that could be boring and once a week could be enough for some people, so let me know in the comments. Hopefully in September/October time the Halloween and Christmas products will start to come out, and maybe then you'll want reviews twice a week?! ;)

So, as you may have guessed from the title, today's Lush review is...FIZZBANGER. One of my personal favourites, which I want to go buy again, right now! You can buy and read more about Fizzbanger HERE on the LUSH website.
As you can see Fizzbanger, or known as 'The Big Friendly Ballistic', which Lush like to call it, is a reasonably sized Bath Bomb. It is not too small, but not too big. In my eyes, the perfect size. It is a bright yellow colour, and sometimes you can see little bits of blue/green, trying to come through. But why is that you may ask?! ;) Fizzbanger is priced at £3.20, and after doing a little bit of research, in June 2011, it was only £2.99, annoying price changes!

Fizzbanger, is such a lovely scent too. It is quite citrusy and its main ingredient is Petitgrain oil, from a bitter orange tree, (Citrus Aurantium Amara), so this would explain the sweet, citrus, smelling aroma.
As soon as you pop Fizzbanger in the Bath, it starts fizzing and releasing its lovely scent, which lingers on your skin for ages after. I was doing a dance class, and I could smell it all throughout the class, it was lovely. It started to fizz a creamy, frothy yellow colour, which produced a small amount of Bubbles in the Bath. I believe the creaminess was the thing that turned my Skin, super soft. After a while of fizzing yellow, suddenly a blue colour came out. Bath bombs, that change colours, are my favourite ever! So the blue mixed with the yellow, and turned the final colour of the Bath, a bright green. Which was actually a really pretty colour and nice to bathe in. Along with the colour changing and lovely scent, it even had Popping Candy! Seriously, could this Bath Bomb get any better? There was loads of it so it made lots of loud pops and this actually lasted for ages. I do love a bit of Popping Candy, do you?!

However, being a slightly larger Bath Bomb, does mean they take longer to fizz, which was no problem to me, but I know some people dislike this. It also had no fizzing noises, whilst fizzing. I think there was no sound as 1) It fizzed creamy, and, 2) There was Popping Candy, instead.
Sorry, about the bad quality of this picture, it's a bit blurry! :/
Just when you thought the Bath Bomb couldn't get any better, this pops out at the end. It's a little piece of paper with the word 'Bang', written on it. I don't know about you (but I'm feeling 22...jokes!;)), but I love it when Bath Bombs give you little notes at the end. This ones been through the Wars a bit though...my Mum threw it away, so I had to retrieve it out of the Bin, to be able to take a picture of it. The things I do for Blogging, haha.

So as you can see, I'm a huge lover of this one. I love the smell, the Popping Candy in it, the way it fizzed and left your Skin feeling lovely and smooth, the colour of the Water and that all important little note at the end. Also the fact that it was so relaxing to have in your Bath. But I didn't like the price...!!!!

Thanks for reading this quick review. I loved writing it, as I haven't written one for 3 weeks! So sorry about that, but I think I'm back to normal Blogging again. Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed!

I'm Back! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So as you may (or may not!) have noticed, I have been very quiet on the Blogging front over the last few weeks. This isn't because I've had no Blogging ideas (trust me, I've had a few!), but finding the time to write the posts, was a little impossible. Basically, I was revising for the first 2 weeks for some end of year mock exams and also practicing for a Piano exam (which I found out yesterday I passed with a Merit!), so as you can see I had no time to write blog posts.

It was also coming to the end of term, so I've been really tired, and I've got to admit, I haven't been in the mood to write a blog post...so sorry! But guess what?! On Tuesday, I finish School for Summer Holidays!!!! So there's going to be so many Blog Posts and lots of exciting things to come. I will also start to plan my September/October posts and try and get a little bit more organised.
Doesn't this just excite you about Summer?!
Now I'm listening to the Radio 1 Chart show and writing Blog posts, looking out into the sunny, warm, weather! It's so nice and I'm so excited about Summer Holidays! :D

Thanks for reading this post. I'm so sorry all my posts lately have been annoying update and chit chatty ones, no reviews whatsoever! I'm hoping to be doing a lot more beauty reviews and OOTDs/Lookbooks.

My Favourite Lush Soaps! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So it's July! YAY! I have 3 weeks(ish), left of School and I can't wait to finish! Today is a Monday, so you know what that means...it's time for a Lush related post! Seeing as recently, I've just been using products that I've already reviewed, I thought I would talk about my favourite Lush soaps! I'm also thinking about doing a Lush wishlist for a couple of Monday's time...thoughts?! But next week will be back to Bath Bombs or Bubble Bar reviews.

I'm only going to be talking about two Lush products, but I was very fortunate to get these for Christmas, so they are both in a lovely star shape! Why do this excite me?
The 1st one is 'Honey I Washed The Kids'. This is so nice! It smells quite vanillarry, but also quite a warm scent. I'm really bad at describing but just trust me, it smells so lovely. It smells like Honeybee Bath Ballistic, for a reference  It stays on your hands for a good amount of time and is just lovely. Link to this Soap on the Lush website HERE
The 2nd one is 'Rockstar'. I love this so much. This scent is so girly, well it is Pink after all! It is just like Creamy Candy (that is like my favourite scent from Lush) and the two together in a Bath is so lovely. It is quite a sweet scent, I could imagine it may give some people headaches, but luckily I don't suffer with that problem, thank god! Just like Honey I Washed The Kids, it stays on your hands for ages. Link on the Lush website HERE

So these are my two favourite, all time Soaps, from Lush. I hope you liked this as it was a little bit different. There will be no post until Thursday, so sorry about that! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
