Halfterm Summary #5! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So today is one of my favourite posts to write...a halfterm summary! The week just gone I was on half term, which was good and nice and relaxing. I'm so sad to be back at School. I am going to be writing from the Friday when we broke up as it was fun!

Friday 14th February: So I walked home with my Friends, and then had a nice and chilled time on my Laptop, painted my Nails, watching YouTube videos and old Outnumbered episodes before going to watch a School play 'Back to the 80s', with my friends which was soooo good! I really enjoyed it!

Saturday 15th February: Today I had a Dance lesson and then went back to my Cousin's house where we had a really good day and laughed a lot!

Sunday 16th February: In the morning I went Swimming and then I came back and actually did a little bit of Homework, I was trying to get it out of the way. I then watched YouTube videos, wrote Blog Posts and spent the rest of the day relaxing and watching lots of old Outnumbered episodes.

Monday 17th February: Today was quite a boring day, all I did was paint my Nails, go on my Laptop, watch YouTube videos and then I went up the Town with my Mum and Sister. I then have started this thing where I am going through ALL of the Waterloo Road episodes, so I watched a lot of episodes of them. Then it was time for Eastenders and that was my day!

Tuesday 18th February: In the Morning I took my Dog's for a Hair Cut and then I came Home and spent a lot of the day doing lots of Blog Planning and Blog Photos and Blog Posts and the day was very productive. Then I spent the evening relaxing, on my Laptop, watching old Waterloo Road episodes, listening to Music and the Radio and watching Eastenders.

Wednesday 19th February: Today I went Shopping with my Mum and Sister and we had a good day, but I only brought one thing from Lush and that was it! Then I came home and went on my Laptop for the rest of the evening, catching up on YouTube videos and then I watched Waterloo Road and Outnumbered.
Thursday 20th February: Today I got up earlyish, painted my Nails, did some more Blog Posts, and then spent the rest of the morning and a bit of the afternoon watching old Waterloo Road episodes before doing some Geography, English and French Homework. Then I just had a nice chilled evening and went on my Laptop and watched Eastenders.

Friday 21st February: Today I and my family went to a really nice countryside place, with a nice house and gift shops and tearooms and we walked around the Park and it was really nice and it was even slightly sunny! It wasn't too cold either. Then I came home and just chilled out for the rest of the evening and watched TV. I also had 3 delicious Chocolate Pancakes.

Saturday 22nd February: Today was a VERY boring day. I spent a lot of it doing some Geography Revision, whilst listening to Music. I then wrote Blog Posts and went on my Laptop. I also went to bed quite early, but it was a good relaxed day.

Sunday 23rd February: This morning I went Swimming again (I always go on Sundays) and then I had a Homework morning and afternoon, and Geography revision whilst listening to Music again. I then went to my Nan and Grampy's house in the evening, which was really fun!

So, I had a nice and relaxed Half Term and now I'm sad because we don't have a Holiday for another 6 weeks! At least the Easter and Mother's Day stuff has come out in Lush...whoop! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Tanya Burr Nail Varnish: Mini Marshmallow & Penguin Chic Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

On January 30th Tanya Burr brought out her Nail Varnish and Lip Gloss range. I was so excited for this so I ordered some Nail Varnishes straight away and I chose 'Mini Marshmallow' and 'Penguin Chic', really beautiful colours. Mini Marshmallow is a very light pastel Pink and Penguin Chic is a off-grey/purply/brown colour. Below are swatches.
I really love these Nail Varnishes. They finish with a really smooth and shiny base adding a great pop of colour. Penguin Chic needed 2 coats and Mini Marshmallow needed 3 coats, which seems quite a lot but otherwise you won't get the full strong colour. 3 coats can also be quite sticky, but you just need to let it dry properly.

However, they have a really good chipping power. They last for ages and they even beat Swimming, which is a bonus in my opinion. I also found that they dried quite quickly. Tanya also brought out a range of colours, so there is something for everyone. They also have lovely names.

For £5.99, I think it is really good. Tanya did a great job and I can't wait to buy more! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Updated: What's On My iPhone? | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So around this time last year, I did a 'What's On My iPhone'. Since then I have got a new iPhone, so I thought I would show you around it today.

Stats:

Type: iPhone 5s

Colour: White

Gigabyte: 16gb

New Or Pre-Owned: New

Network:

How Long I've Had It For: 25th December 2013

1. Case:
I'm not going to go into too much detail as I will be doing a more in-depth post on it soon, but it's just a plain Mint Green one.
2. Background
I've just got the one that comes with the Phone I believe it is one of the 'still' ones, but I think it's pretty!
3. Lock Screen
My lock screen is the same 'still' one as my background, I love it!
4. Page 1 of Apps
There's not much to say about this page as it's all the Apps that come with the Phone.
5. Page 2 of Apps
I'm just going to give you a little run down of all the Apps I have on this Page. I don't like putting my Apps into groups as I like to be able to see them all and I just think it's nicer.

So first we have Facebook which I don't use a lot, Twitter which I scroll through when I wake up, Snapchat which I don't use too much and Kik which I use quite a lot just to talk to my friends.  Then I have BBC iPlayer which I always use to watch Eastenders, YouTube which I use a lot to watch videos, Instagram which I'm always on just scrolling through and Blogger which I use just to upload Posts. Next I have ITV Player which I used a lot when X Factor and I'm a celebrity were on TV, Tumblr which I use to scroll through the Zalfie Tag, 4od which I don't use a lot, Instacollage to make collages for Instagram, but I don't use it a lot. Then I have Sleeps which just says how many sleeps until Christmas, Whitagram which I use to make my Instagram photos fit and to brighten them, Minion Rush which I play on when I'm bored and Wunderlist which I use to make lists of things I need to do. Finally, I have Dumb Ways To Die which I use when I'm bored, Flow which I love it's one of my favourite apps, Smurfs Village which I used to use all the time but now I don't, and that is the same for Smurfs Life
6. Page 3 of Apps
First I have Messenger which I use a lot because it's the Facebook Messenger, Free Fall which is an App from Frozen and it's a bit like Candy Crush, Flappy Bird which everyone knows about and Mr. Crab which I'm not really a big fan of. Then I have Flipagram which I used once and never used again, Bloglovin which I use to see when Blogs I followed have uploaded and I read them when I'm bored, FGW Train which is so handy when travelling on Trains, The Hits Radio which is one of my favourite radios so I listen to that quite a lot. Then, I have the Gold Radio which plays Music from the 60s-80s (call me old fashioned) but I like it, Dailymotion which is an app with lots of TV programmes on it and I used it a lot to watch Outnumbered on, Hokusai which edits Music so you can cut it and put Music together and Dropbox which you put the things from Hokusai in and any Photos you want to save. Finally, I have City Bird which is quite similar to Flappy Bird, but really annoying.

So that is my updated what's on my iPhone. I hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!

Lush Collection Part 2! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Today's post is the second part in my Lush collection series as I have used up all the products I previously mentioned in THIS post. I will start straight away as I know this is going to be a very long post. You can visit the Lush website HERE
First I have the cutest Bath Ballistic you have ever seen...this is 'Ickle Baby Bot'. My Mum brought me this way back in November, but I didn't want to use it. I've used this many times before and loved it, so I can't wait to use it again. It's also really cheap! You can read my review HERE

Next I have another cute product, the Melting Snowman Bath Melt from the Christmas 2013 range. This is a Bath Melt, I see what you did there Lush, get it the melting snowman ;) haha. Anyway, I had this last year and really loved it so I couldn't miss out on it this year. I brought it at the Christmas Markets right at the beginning of December. It also has a really lovely Christmassy scent, which I miss. Review coming soon.
Yet again, another cute Lush product. This is the Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar from the Christmas 2013 range. This is just too adorable to use, but has the most amazing scent. My friend got me this for Christmas and I can't wait to use it. Review coming soon.
Next up is my favourite Lush Christmas product and this is Candy Mountain from the Christmas 2013 range. I think this has been in the Christmas ranges since 2011 but every year it gets changed a little bit and this year was quite a dramatic change. However, it still looks lovely and has the most beautifullest (made up word right there) sweet scent EVER. My friend brought me this for Christmas as she knew it was my favourite. Review coming soon.
Another present from my friend is Cinders Bath Ballistic. Cinders has appeared in the Lush Christmas range for many years now and doesn't seem to change. However, it's a classic Bath Ballistic with a lovely sweet honey scent and popping candy in it. You can read my review of it HERE
Next is a Bath Ballistic that I have never tried before and that is So White Bath Ballistic. This is also from the Christmas range and I think this has also appeared a few times previously. It may look really boring from the outside but don't be fooled! It produces a Pinky/Red colour I believe and it smells like Apples! What's not to like? I got this for Christmas from my Parents. Review coming soon.
Another treat from my Mum in the middle of the December was Christmas Eve Bubble Bar, one of my absolute favourites which has also appeared many times in the Christmas ranges previously, but it also gets changed a little bit each time. I really like it from 2013 though and have a review of it HERE. It also smells so nice.
Finally we have Lord of Misrule Bath Ballistic which was from the Halloween Range 2013, but I think it stayed for a little bit at the beginning of 2014. I got this on the day the Christmas products first came out back in October. I think this also produces a berry toned Water colour so it seems very intriguing and smells lovely. I will review this soon as well.

So that is everything I am going to show you in the Lush collection part 2! Stay tuned for Part 3! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed.

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil Review '004 Black Brown' | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Today I am going to be reviewing one of my favourite products and that is the Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil. Being someone with disgusting/awkward Eyebrows, this is the perfect thing for me. I started to fill in my eyebrows back in September with a Black eyeliner. I have dark Eyebrows, but this was just too dark and it wasn't working well. I then invested in this Pencil and I've been much better off ever since.
First of all, I think it looks really natural on my brows and I think that is a key thing. The colour '004 Black Brown' is a perfect match for my brows (if you have light black eyebrows, definitely go for this one) so blends in really nicely. It also brushes on and sits on the eyebrows really nicely, which helps the colour to blend in and not look unnatural, whilst leaving a soft finish.

I also found that if you keep this pencil very sharp, it is really easy to get the Brows in a good shape and nice and defined around the edges. Also after application, if you use the eyebrow comb that comes on the lid on the Brush, it's really good for combing everything through to keep it in place and to stop any harshness.

The eyebrow pencil does not smudge easily and has great staying power. I'm talking about all day staying power, I will apply it at like 8 in the morning and it will still be there at 8 at night, but obviously it's not perfect.

The only bad thing I can fault is that it only comes in 3 colours so there is not a good colour variation range.

This pencil is also very cheap, you can pick it up HERE on the BOOTS website for just £2.99, that is great value for money.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed and found it useful!

January Favourites 2014! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

One thing I really regretted not doing last year was favourites posts at the end of each month. This year, I have decided to do exactly that and I'm really excited about it. I can't believe how fast January went! But, here are my Top 5 favourite products of January.
Top 5 January Favourites:

One Direction 'Our Moment' - Not being a fan of One Direction, I was really surprised that I actually liked the Perfume. It smells very similar to Britney Spears 'Radiance' Perfume which I used to own and love. I think it is a really sweet/refreshing scent and I have had a few compliments on it. It also has good staying power!

Strawberry EOS Lip Balm - I was so excited to try an EOS Lip Balm, and this did not fail my expectations. It smells amazing and it helps my Lips so much. It has been so Cold lately and my Lips have been very chapped, but this has helped immensely and nourished them.

Aussie Luscious Long Leave-In Conditioner - My Hair has been very weird lately. It has been dry and sticky and I found spraying this in it after I had washed it (and sometimes when it was dry, not really recommended) helped it a lot. The stickiness would go and my Hair just felt silky smooth and it felt like it had life back in it, something I was praying for!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Exfoliator - A good exfoliator is key for your Skin care routine and this one has been great. I think it exfoliates my Skin really well, getting rid of all the dead Skin particles (ew) and placing a nice fresh layer of soft Skin. It helps keep my Face looking healthy and brightens it up.

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil '004 Black Brown' - This has been my most favourite product. I actually quite like filling in my Eyebrows and with this pencil it's much better. It doesn't smudge, has great staying power, looks natural, perfect colour and it has a very handy comb to comb through your Eyebrows afterwards.

So they are my Top 5 Products from January. I really hope you enjoyed this Post and let me know if you like this new series. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Wishlist: February 2014! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

I hope everyone had a good January and are looking forward to February. I managed to stick to my Schedule in January, so hope to in February. I also hope that I can start to Post the Lush Christmas Reviews as midweek bonus Posts. One last thing, did everyone enjoy the Look Book collab from Wednesday? We are hoping to do another one in Spring.

So today I thought I would start the month off by showing you some things that I really want at the moment in a Wishlist Post. Here goes...
From left to right on the top row:

1. Mint Green Roll Pocket Crop Tee- Topshop: £12.00 - I really enjoyed wearing the colour Mint Green last year and seeing as it is my favourite colour, I can't wait to bring it back again this year. This is a baggy crop top, which I think would look great with some high wasted Jeans on a Spring day. It's also casual, so will go good with lots of different things and I look forward to styling it. You can buy it HERE.

2. Prince Charming Shower Gel- Lush: £4.65 - Prince Charming Shower Gel is from the Valentine's Collection in Lush this year. On the website it says it smells of Marshmallows and Vanilla, so how could I not try it? I really need to buy this soon. You can buy it Here

3. Maybelline Baby Skin- Boots: £7.99 - I love the Maybelline Baby Lips, so when I saw this was coming out I was very excited. This is a Primer, and gets rid of your Pores instantly. I think this will be perfect for my Skin, so I really need it. You can buy it HERE

4. Mini Marshmallow Nail Varnish- Tanya Burr: £5.99 - This Nail Varnish is from Tanya Burr's new Lips and Nails. I love Tanya Burr, so when they came out on Thursday evening I was straight on Feel Unique, picking out the colours I loved best and Mini Marshmallow happened to be one of them. It is a really pretty Pastel Pink, which I think is going to be great in Spring. You can buy it Here

5. Picnic In The Park Lip Gloss- Tanya Burr: £6.99 - This is a  Lip Gloss from Tanya Burr's new range. I think this colour is so pretty and it has a lovely name with it. I can't wait to try the Lip Glosses and this one is going to be perfect for Summer I think! You can buy it HERE

From left to right bottom row:

6. Mint Green Scallop Neck Tank- Topshop: £16.00 - Another Mint Green top, what a surprise! However, I absolutely adore this top. I think it is going to be a really nice 'going out' top for Spring and Summer. I love the scalloped detailing around the bottom and collar and I just love the collar in itself. I think it is a beautiful colour and I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of it. You can buy it HERE

7. Love Locket Bath Ballistic- Lush: £6.95 - This is another product from the Lush Valentine's range. I love Lush' Bath Ballistics, so when I saw this on the website I couldn't wait to try it. The only down side is the price, it is so expensive! You can buy it HERE

8. Pomegranate EOS Lip Balm- Amazon: £6.20 - I received a Strawberry EOS Lip Balm for Christmas and I am currently loving it. Therefore, I checked back on the Amazon website to see what other flavours they have and Pomegranate really stood out to me (along with Summer Fruits) so I thought I would buy it. Also, these are only available in America, so it's great Amazon stocks them. You can buy it HERE

9. Penguin Chic Nail Varnish- Tanya Burr: £5.99 - Another Nail Varnish from the Tanya Burr Lips and Nails collection that stood out to me was Penguin Chic. I heard Tanya talk a lot about this in Vlogmas and this was the one I most wanted to try. I love the colour, I think it is so pretty. You can buy it HERE

10. Just Peachy Lip Gloss- Tanya Burr: £6.99 - Another Lip Gloss from Tanya Burr, this one is called Just Peachy. I love Peach toned Lip Glosses and I fell in love with this when I saw it on the Website. Spring is fast approaching, so I think I am going to get a lot of wear out of this soon. You can buy it HERE

So that is my Wishlist for February! I really hoped you enjoyed this Post and maybe it gave you some inspiration to buy any of this stuff. Thanks for reading and see you on Wednesday!
