What I Got My Mum! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)
So today I thought I would show you what I brought my Mum for Mother's Day!
The first thing I got was these Thornton's 'I ♥ Mum' Chocolates, but I actually got them from Clinton's'. These were £3.50 and it's become a tradition to buy her these every year!
Next, I got her a Yankee Candle in 'Shea Butter', also from Clinton's for £7.99. This smells amazing and she loves Candles!
Then I picked up the new Jimmy Choo 'Blossom' Perfume from Boot's for £36.00. This smells lovely and she loves the Jimmy Choo Perfumes.
Finally, I brought her, her favourite thing from Lush which is the 'Creamy Candy' Bubble Bar for £2.75. It smells amazing and I do love it myself!

I also got her some £5 Flowers from Sainsbury's, but I don't have a picture of them but they were pastel Pink and Purple Tulips! My fav!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

February Favourites 2015! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

A bit late, but, today I have my February favourites for you all!
February Favourites:

1. Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' Concealer: I've had a lot of pesky spots recently, so this has been helping massively to clear them up. I normally do two layers of it and that's just enough! It lasts for quite a while and even longer when powdered down. This is my go to concealer!

2. Sudocrem: Bit of a weird one, but linking to the spot theme, I have been applying this at night time and I've found it's been helping to dry the spots out, which some people don't like but personally for me I find it very useful!

3. Diesel 'Loverdose' Perfume: I got this perfume for Christmas and I've made it my Monday perfume. I love it so much! It smells just like sweets and it lasts for ages in the day!

4. Barry M 'Matte' Nail Varnish: In February I really got in to painting my Nails, as we had Half Term, and this was my favourite Nail Varnish from the whole month. I love the look of matte nails and I found that I could match this colour to any outfit!

5. Mulberry Purse: After receiving this purse for Christmas, I didn't use it too much in January, I think I was a bit scared but I really got into using it this month as I had lots of places to go where I needed it. I love it so much, it's so spacious and pretty. I'm in love!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed and maybe found it useful?!

Clothing Haul! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

In the half-term I went shopping three times, spent way too much money but brought some lovely clothes and I thought I would share them with you today. If you like something you should still be able to buy it because nothing is sale items!

On my first shopping trip I brought 3 things, a skirt and two tops:
This skirt is from Topshop and it's just a stripy wrap-around skirt with buttons at the top. It also comes with a spare button so that's always good. This was £35.
This top is just your average plain long sleeved Black Tee. It's ribbed and slightly cropped. This was from New Look and this is £17.99.
This top is from Topshop and it's a white scalloped vest top, also slightly cropped. It's quite flowy and I believe this was £16.

On my second shopping trip I brought 2 things, 2 tops:
The first top is this Green and White cropped top, which is apparently a '90s' print. This was from Topshop and this was £20.
The second top is a strip black and cream crop top, with a roll neck. All the stripes are different sizes around the top. This was £15 from Topshop.

On my last shopping trip I brought 1 thing, a dress:
This is a stripy black and white dress, with a roll neck and it's about midi length. This was from Miss Selfridge and it was £25.

I also made a sneaky online Lush purchase and I brought Fleur's book The Glam Guide, but I didn't think it fitted with the clothing theme. ;) Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Tights: Next

Necklace: New Look

So that's my outfit! I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some shopping inspiration! Thanks for reading!

Everyday School Make Up Routine! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

After really getting into doing my make up in the Christmas holidays, I have now developed a daily make up routine of what I apply to my face before school. I thought I would share it with you today!
1. Miss Sporty Clear Mascara: Firstly, I comb through my eyebrows with this clear mascara, just to get rid of any bushiness.

2. Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' Concealer: Next, I apply this Concealer to any problematic areas such as spots, blemishes, red areas or under eye circles. I just use my fingers to blend it in.

3. Rimmel 'Stay Matte' Powder: I then powder my Concealer with my Real Techniques Powder Brush and it just helps my make up stay in place all day. I've hit pan in it!

4. Bourjois 'Chocolate' Bronzer: I then apply this Bronzer with the Real Techniques Bronzer Brush to contour my cheeks and bronze my forehead.

5. Mac Mineralized Skin Finish in 'Lust': I then apply this using the Real Techniques Blush Brush to the apples of my cheeks for a rosy finish!

6. Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in 'Black Brown': Finally, I finish off the look by filling in my eyebrows a little bit. Quick brushes are the best to make it look the most natural!

So those 6 steps complete my make up look! I really hope you enjoyed this post and thanks for reading!

January Favourites 2015! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Today I am going to be showing you all the things I have been loving throughout January!
 January Favourites:

1. Bourjois Bronzer: I received this for my birthday in September but it's not been since January that I've actually started using every day. It defines my cheek bones perfectly and you only need a very, very tiny amount! It also works really well to bronze the forehead. I've found it lasts from 8 in the morning until 8 at night when I take it off! It's really good!

2. Aloe Vera Vaseline: January has been cold! This has made my lips very, very dry and chapped and just quite red and sore! Thankfully, I had this Vaseline lying around and I've really got back into applying it each night before bed. Also, the Aloe Vera smells nice!

3. Cheryl's 'Storm Flower' Perfume: I received this for Christmas and made it my Thursday and Friday perfume. It just smells so lovely and fresh and I've received lots of compliments on it. The only thing I would say is that you do have to top it up throughout the day!

4. Una Brennan Super Facialist Face Scrub: Since my new years resolution was to improve my skin care routine, I invested in some new skin care and this was one of them. I use this on Wednesday and Sunday and it's very gentle on the skin, leaving behind a very smooth and even base. Great for applying make up onto!

5. LUSH (Unicorn Bubble Bar Pictured...review?): After receiving LOADS of Lush stuff for Christmas, I've started to make myself use it. I'm really bad at buying Lush stuff and just leaving it sitting in my room un-used. I had products from last year and my Birthday and Halloween/Bonfire Night so I'm slowly getting through it and loving it! Tuesday's and Thursday's are Bath Bomb days and the rest I have Bubble Bars!

So that's what I've been loving throughout January! Thanks for reading I really hope you enjoyed this Post and found it useful or inspired you to try new things! :)

Two Perfumes! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

I hope you are all well and that you are having a great year so far. I can't believe how fast January is whizzing by...probably doesn't help with all the work I've had to do recently for School. But...I got an A in my English Language GCSE so I was pretty chuffed about that. :)
Today I am going to be talking about two perfumes I have been absolutely loving recently. I think it's very rare to find perfumes that you would happily where everyday and that fit morning and night purposes but I feel like these two do.
1. Cheryl's 'Storm Flower': Ever since Cheryl was on the X Factor I have become a bit obsessed with her, I think she is stunning and wears such nice clothes. Also, I got her album for Christmas that I listen to at least once a day! But her perfume is just lovely. It's very floral and fresh smelling...my kind of scent. It doesn't last the whole day, so you would need to top it up half way through. The bottle is also very nice and looks pretty sat on my drawers. You can buy it HERE and HERE
2. Diesel 'Lover Dose': I smelt this perfume in Superdrug once and didn't really like it (I think the bottle had gone off) because lots of people rave about this and so after receiving it for Christmas, I gave it another go. The scent literally screams me! It's so, so, so sweet and smells like licorice and sweets. I think it's also quite similar to Alien, so consider it a cheaper alternative?! ;) This one does last the whole day but the bottle is quite annoying, it doesn't stand up too well on my drawers but I love the deep Purple colour of it. You can buy it HERE and HERE.

So they are the two Perfumes that I would recommend to you at the moment! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed! January favourites coming next week!

2014 Highlights! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

I'm so sorry I've only just got around to writing my 2014 Highlights...but here they are!

January: January was a boring month. I had the Dentist, the Orthodontist, watched a Pantomime, went back to Dance, had a Geography Controlled Assessment for two days at School, an R.E trip and Parents evening at School...fun. But, we also invited my Grampy and Nan around for a second Christmas Dinner...it was great fun!

February: February was another boring month. I had two friends Birthdays, Half Term which I did nothing in just a proper chill out week and then it was back to School...gosh I don't even remember it being that boring.
March: March started off with my Dog's birthday, an Orthodontist trip for my Top Braces and then I was suppose to do a Dance Workshop and have a Dance Theatre Trip but I was ill :( But then I had my Grampy's Birthday and then I experienced the Gym for the first time which I hated and it made me ill again. Then I had to do lots of revisions for some end of term mocks at school. March had ups and downs.

April: April started off bad, I was ill again! But I then had two weeks off to recover where I went Shopping, had a meal out in Pizza Express, went to London and the rest of the days just chilled out. It was also Easter in April which was another fun day of laughs and Easter Egg hunts! But then it was back to school again.
May: May started off boring but then I had a great day with my Friend's playing hide and seek...big kids! but we had a Bank Holiday Monday where I went to a May Fair, and then I had an Awards Evening at School, and then I had to do my Set Study Exam for GCSE Dance on the same day that I went to see Little Mix which was amazing, and then I went to see a Photography Exhibition which was good and then it was the end of term and I had another week off, relaxing!

June: June was hectic! I think I blinked and it was all over. It started off with going back to School and my Dad's birthday where we had a meal out and then I had a weekend away with Guides to do my BP award and then I watched my Cousin in her Dance show and then my other Cousin had her Birthday party and then it was Father's Day and then it was Cousin's Birthday and then it was my Nan and Grampy's 50th Wedding Anniversary Party and then it was my Cousin's 21st Birthday and then my Mum's Birthday so we had a meal out and then I had a Dance Show! In that month I had to fit in revision for loads of mocks at School, looking back now I'm not quite sure how I fitted it in.

July: July was spent doing 2 works of Work Experience which I absolutely loved! Then I had one more week of School and another Dance Show before finishing for the Summer. I think I just chilled out for the first week and then I had a sleepover at my friend's house which was so fun with my other friend and then I went Strawberry Picking and another Dentist appointment. :(

August: August was busy and fun! I went Shopping, hung out with my Cousin, went to London, had another sleepover at my friend's house with my 3 other friend's for her Birthday which was so fun and we camped in the Garden! Then I had a meal out for my Nan's Birthday and then I had a week away in Cornwall which I absolutely loved and then it was my Sister's birthday and then when I came home from Holiday I just went Shopping and started to get ready for going back to School. August was good.
September: September was great. Apart from going back to School. I went to see Wicked in London, I had a lovely Birthday Meal with all my friends, it was my 16th Birthday and I went to Brighton which I loved, and then I had my Friend's Birthday meal for her 16th Birthday and then I had my English Speaking Exam and a Science ISA but then I treated myself with a Shopping trip with my Friend and then me and my group of friends had a nice Saturday out to just chill and chat. Other than that, it was busy month of getting back into the swing of School.

October: October whizzed by. It started off with my Dog's birthday, a shopping trip, my Nan's Birthday and then I had an Inset Day when I went Shopping and then I and my Cousin had a baking day which was super fun and then I had a nice Saturday out with my group of friends where we went to B&M for Halloween Decorations and had a Costa and then it was my Blog's 2nd Birthday and then I had a Halloween Party that I and my Group of Friends had organised which was great fun and then it was Half Term, where I didn't do much but go Shopping and chill out. I did have to go into School though for English revision. Year 11 sucks. Halloween was a boring night of staying in and carving a pumpkin!

November: November was a good month. It started off with watching a yearly Fireworks Display, going back to School, a Costa date with my Friend's after school, 2 nights of Dance shows which were tiring, looking at sixth forms, a Psychology trip, a yearly Street Fair and watching I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. November was nice.

December: The best month of the year. It started off with a Science ISA, but then I went to some Christmas Markets and Shopping with my Friends, and then I got hit with the Flu so I had 3 days off of School and was very poorly. :( But then that Weekend I and my Friend's went Christmas Shopping which was so fun and then that same evening we had a Party which was so fun as well! Then I had the Orthodontist and then lots of Exams and Assessments the last week of School. We put up the Christmas Decorations...best thing ever but we were late this year! But the last day of School was fun, me and my Friend's got Lunch in Boswell's and then went back to my Friend's house to watch stupid videos on YouTube and then that same evening I had a Family Christmas Meal and Disco which was also great and then  I had a chilled weekend, Garden Centre Shopping and then I did some last minute Christmas Shopping with my Mum and then we made Mince Pies, went to see Nativity 3 at the Cinema, went to see my Great Nan, built a Gingerbread House on Christmas Eve and then had an amazing Christmas Day and Boxing Day and the rest of December was truly chilled out with a New Years Eve spent in, playing Cluedo! I lost one game and won one game!

Looking back, from May onwards I've really enjoyed this year! I think it's been very fun and I hope 2015 can be just as good! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Happy New Year! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Woah...it feels weird writing a blog post. I haven't been on my blog since October, and with November and December being empty of blog posts, I feel very bad. November was a very busy month and I literally had no time to post or was too tired to post. December I had the flu for 1-2 weeks and had no energy to post then and when it was getting nearer Christmas I just thought why not come back in the new year, feeling refreshed and ready to write again, because let me tell you I have missed doing this!

First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a very happy new year and that I hope you had a great 2014 but have an even better 2015. I will be doing my yearly highlights post of what I got up to this year very soon so hold on for that!
Whilst we're here, I thought I would tell you my news years resolutions:

1. Get back into a better skin care routine: Exfoliating, moisturising, cleansing, spot treatments the lot. I need to get rid of these bad spots!

2. Blog more: I've decided to just do one post a week at the moment, because I think it's manageable and this will be up on a Sunday.

3. Be healthier: I need to drink more water, eat healthier (no eating unnecessary Chocolate, or maybe have fruit if I am actually hungry) and exercise more to get rid of spots.

4. Focus on school work: It's my GCSE's this year (help :() so I need to get revising as soon as really, and prioritise this but have time to watch YouTube videos as well.

5. Go to bed earlier: If I'm having more sleep, I'll feel better and be more focused to work!

I think 5 is a good amount and I'll just see how I get on! That's it for now but join me on Sunday where I will be showing you what I got for Christmas!
