August Favourites 2014! | Believe In Beauty

Sorry it's a bit late but today I am going to be talking about my August favourites! 

August Favourites: 

1. Dove Deodorant: I actually wrote a review on this I loved it so much! This stuff smells amazing...so fruity and sweet and the packaging is also super cute. I think this is the best deodorant out there at the moment! 

2. Maybelline Nail Varnish in 'Flamant Rose': I wore this colour the whole way through August on my toes and I loved it. It was perfect on Holiday, has amazing chipping power and looked great with pretty much any flip flop with it's amazing shine! 

3. Maybelline Baby Lips in 'Strike A Rose': This was one of the new Baby Lips and it's the only one I've tried so far...but I love it. It is a beautiful Pink colour, with moisturising qualities and I have worn it a lot in August...it's only £2.99 too and there are 3 other colours to pick from in the 'Electro' range, so something for everyone! 

4. Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' Concealer: This is a great concealer for under the eyes to brighten them up. I've also found it works great to highlight the brow bone, as that's where I mostly use it as it's not the best for spots. It's very light and not cakey! It's got good staying power, but even better with a dab of powder! 

5. Scrunchie: My Friend actually made me this Scrunchie, so you can't buy it in any Stores but I absolutely love this! It's such a pretty pattern and it was so nice of her to make it so I felt it needed a mention this month as I pretty much wore it everyday in August and am still wearing it in September! 

So they are all my favourites from the month of August! Sad that Summer is over but my Birthday is just around the corner and I love the Winter months...Christmas will soon be here!

Updated: Everyday Make Up Routine! | Believe

So around this time last year, I actually uploaded an everyday Make Up routine and it's changed a bit since then, so I thought I would show you an updated version!

1. Nivea Essential Care: First of all, I apply a Lip Balm to my Lips to make sure they are moisturised by the time I apply a Lipstick/Lipgloss e.t.c. 

2. Maybelline Baby Skin: Then I apply my Maybelline Baby Skin, to smooth out my Skin and minimise any pesky pores! 

3. Miss Sport Clear Mascara: I don't use this for a Mascara, I use this to comb through my Brows and to keep them in place for the day! 

4. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: I use this underneath and on top of my Eyebrow, just to highlight the Brow Bone! 

5. Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil: I then fill in my Eyebrows and use the comb on the end of the Brush to Brush through them and set them in place for the day. 

6. Collection Concealer: I cover up any Spots/Blemishes with this! 

7. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder: I then set my Concealer with this powder and also Brush it around the rest of my Face to help it stay shine free all day. 

8. Avon Face Brush: I then pick up this Brush and...

9. Mac Mineralized Skin Finish in 'Lust': I then use my Avon Brush and apply this to my Cheeks and it helps to brighten them up for the day! 

10. Maybelline Baby Lips in 'Pink Punch': I then apply this to my Lips, it helps to moisturise whilst giving a pop of a Baby Pink Colour! 

11. Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in 'Picnic In The Park': Finally, I finish off the day's look with a touch of Lip Gloss!

March Favourites 2014! | Believe In Beauty

Another month gone and another favourites post for you all today. I found it hard to find favourites this month but don't fear...I have found some great ones to share with you all today! 

March Favourites 2014 

Jack Wills Body Wash: I got this for Christmas in 2012 but I have only just started using it! I really like it though, it has a very sweet scent which lingers on your skin. However, not only being your average shower gel it also has hydrating aspects to it so leaves your Skin feeling very nourished and moisturised which is always lovely. 

Tanya Burr Nail Varnish 'Mini Marshmallow': Tanya Burr released her Nail Varnishes at the end of January and I brought one straightaway. I wore it for a lot of weekends in March and I really loved it. It's a beautiful pastel Pink with good staying properties. 

Nivea Essential Care Lip Balm: I found that I had REALLY dry Lips throughout March and I always turned to this, which is something I rarely use. However, I forgot how much I loved it! It's super moisturising and works very effectively and quickly. My Lips are always left super smooth after using this. 

Maybelline Baby Lips 'Peach Kiss': 'Peach Kiss' has always been a Baby Lip that I haven't really been drawn to. However, whilst trying to cure my dry Lips I also used this for School days. It is a lovely nude colour, whilst being moisturising to the Lips. I really recommend this for School days. 

Lush 'Rockstar' Soap: I have really been loving the Lush soaps this month. I have been using 'Honey I Washed The Kids' and 'Rockstar'. Both Soaps seem to have moisturising properties in them because they leave my Hands feeling very smooth and my Sister also commented on this. I also like how the scent lingers on my Hands and there just a lovely treat.

Maybelline Baby Skin Review | Believe In Beauty

Today I am going to be reviewing the newish Primer from Maybelline which is called 'Baby Skin'. I was so excited when I heard about it because I thought it would be the perfect primer for my skin and I do have good things to say about it.

 "Smooth, poreless looking skin," 

Following the launch of the Maybelline Baby Lips and their success, buying Baby Skin was so exciting for me. I loved the Baby Lips so trusted that this would be as good. First of all, the formula of this is a clear silicone gel, which goes into the skin really nicely, leaving a smooth and matte finish. I just use my fingertips to place it onto my skin. It is ideal for people with greasy skin as it keeps grease at bay and helps your face stay shine-free all day. 

I also found that my concealer goes onto my Skin much more easier after applying this, it glides on to sit nicely and doesn't look obvious around creases or pores. I've also noticed that my concealer stays on longer whilst keeping my face fresh-looking. 

Also, your face feels flawless afterwards. It makes your face unbelievably smooth and soft. However, whilst claiming to produce 'poreless looking skin', my pores were still there, which is something I was less happy about. 

Additionally, I really like the packaging because I think it is cute and appealing. The primer is also non-scented which is something I definitely prefer. I also think that it's handy not being tinted, because it means it will suit everyone's skin tones. 

Overall, I think this is a great drugstore primer contender, priced at £7.99 you can't really go wrong. You can pick it up at Boots HERE or Superdrug HERE. Thanks for reading and I hope you found this review useful!
