February Highlights! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So seeing as it's the 27th of February today and tomorrow is the last day of February before March, (confusing?) I thought I would round up February and tell you some exciting things that happened! So here goes!

My 1st highlight for this month was going to see Little Mix. I love Little Mix! I think their songs are amazing and have liked them since they were on X Factor. It was a really great night and they performed basically all of their songs on their Album 'DNA' (which is amazing!) I got a really nice top and the programme thingy ma bob! I'd thought I'd share with you some of my best photos from the night, if you went, comment down below!

My 2nd highlight was vintagelovehearts (Meg!) birthday/sleepover party. It was really fun! We had a lush meal out in the evening at 'Prezzo' and a really funny sleepover afterwards! Thanks for inviting me!! :)

So yeah, just a quick post on my top highlights for February! Hope you enjoyed! <3

Byee!:)

Sneak Peak for next Post: I've finished up a lot of products!

Side note: Every week I will DEFINITELY have a post on Sunday and Wednesday, but I've decided somewhere in between I MIGHT upload an extra post for you all if I have the time! Sorry if that's confusing!

Lush Haul! | Believe In Beauty

Hey:)

Today's post is going to be a Lush Haul. I did one of these back in October and seeing as I went into Lush the other day and brought 4 things, I thought I would do another one! I think I will be doing lots more of these in future posts because I love Lush so much and recently they brought out the Easter collection and it all looks amazing. I think I want to buy all of it! :) I won't though, don't worry haha... If you want any FULL reviews on any of the Lush products mentioned in this post, just let me know in the comments :) Links to products mentioned in the post are also featured!

The first thing I brought was 'Pop In The Bath' Bubble Bar. I really, really love this! I think it is so cute! You can also get loads of different colours of this, there's green, blue, pink and white. I decided to go for the Green one though. It's not actually as dark as it is on the Lush website, it's more of a Mint Green, which actually I prefer. It smells amazing and is only £2.90, which personally I think is a massive bargain! Can't wait to use it! https://www.lush.co.uk/product/318/Pop-In-The-Bath

The second thing I brought was the 'Mumkin' Bubble Bar. This is from the Mother's Day collection. Really my Mum should have this, but I don't think she would use. However, I'm going to get her the 'Washing Up Fairy' from the Mother's Day Collection as I think that would be much more beneficial for her...haha. Anyway...how cute is this?! That was what made me buy it. It just looks so adorable, I don't think I can bring myself to use it! The smell is something I wouldn't normally opt for, but I think it is growing on me and I'm beginning to like it. I'm looking forward to using it and it was £2.75, which again I think is amazing! https://www.lush.co.uk/product/6291/Mumkin

The third thing I brought was the 'Creamy Candy' Bubble Bar. This is one of my favourite Lush products ever!! The flower on the top is so, so cute! It smells amazing, kind of similar to the Bubblegum Lip Scrub, also from Lush. I've had this before and it creates so many bubbles in your bath. I always use half of it at a time because even though it might not seem a lot, it makes so many bubbles. It's only £2.50 which is an absolute bargain in my opinion! Love, love, love this!! https://www.lush.co.uk/product/103/Creamy-Candy

Finally, the last thing I brought was 'Space Girl' Bath Ballistic. This is another one of my favourite's from Lush. It smells so amazing and fizzes to a beautiful colour when you put it in your Bath water. I also love the Glitter it has on it, it just makes it that extra bit prettier. It's only £2.10 which, again, is a bargain because the Bath Bomb is so big and your getting a huge amount of brilliant product. I cannot speak more highly of this! Definitely a MUST HAVE in your collection! https://www.lush.co.uk/product/370/Space-Girl

Thanks for reading! If you're in the Lush shop anytime soon, definitely go and sniff/see these products, they are all so lovely! :)

Sneak Peak for next Post: Let's round up February!

Hair Tips! | Believe In Beauty

Hello:)

Today's post is just going to be a quick one and it's going to be some Hair Tips! These are Hair Tips that I think genuinely work to keep your hair in good condition! :)

1. Don't wash your hair everyday! It will make your hair become very dry and strips the oils out of your hair at the ends. It also could actually make your hair more greasy if you were to wash it everyday.

2. Have a hair cut regularly. It's good to have a haircut between 6-8 weeks. It's better to have regular hair cuts because it cuts all the dead/split ends off and keeps it in a better condition.

3. Only Condition the ends. I find that if you put conditioner at the top of you head, it can make the top of your hair very greasy! Shampoo is much more suitable for the top of your head! :)

4. Don't put heat on your hair. Straighteners, hairdryers, curling wands e.t.c, can damage your hair really badly! It's better not to use them but if you can't possibly live without them, you should only use them up to 3 times a week. However, when using Straighteners, hairdryers  curling wands e.t.c, you should use a Heat Protector spray. They work quite well and prevent damage to your hair when your using heat on it!

5. Use a wide tooth comb to comb your hair through when it's wet. When your hair is wet it is very breakable. Using a wide tooth comb lowers the risk of breaking your hair whilst brushing it through when it's wet.

6. Don't back comb your hair! I hate back combing my hair because it's so bad for it! Back combing breaks your hair very badly and puts it in a dry/bad condition! I never back comb my hair because of this. I find other ways to get it voluminous without damaging it! :)

7. Use Cold Water or Eggs for a good shine. Giving your hair a final rinse with cold water when all the Shampoo and Conditioner is out should make it that extra bit shinier! I do this a lot and personally, I think it works quite well. I know putting Eggs on your hair sounds a bit dodgy and disgusting, but loads of people say it works! I haven't tried it though, I'm too scared! Haha!;)

8. Let it dry naturally. When your hair is wet it's better to let it dry naturally because it can avoid split ends and heat damage from the Hair Dryer.

9. Use Hair masks/leave in Conditioners once a week. Using Hair masks/leave in Conditioners once a week keeps your hair strong and less breakable. It also helps to make it look nicer and keeps it in a very good condition!

10. Try to avoid Hair Dyes. Hair Dyes can make your hair very dry and using bleach basically kills it. It's best to try and avoid dyes and bleaches if possible!

Thanks for reading my Hair Tips! If you've got any that I haven't mentioned, pop them in the comments and I'll be very interested to read them. Or tell me if you disagree with any of mine!

Byeee :)

P.S- Seeing as the rest of February and the whole of March I will be at School, I've tried to be more organised with my blog (unlike in January!) and I'm going to have 2 posts a week. One on Wednesday and one Sunday, so here's Wednesday! Also at the end of each Blog Post I will give you a little sneak peak into what post's coming next! Hopefully the Blogging will pick up again in April when I have 2 weeks of School...yipee!

Sneak Peak for next Post: Done a bit of Shopping...but where?!

Halfterm Summary #2! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So back in October/November I did a Halfterm summary post and I really enjoyed writing it so I decided every time I have a halfterm (only 1 week ones) I'm going to write a little Summary of what I get up to from Monday-Friday. I will probably do about 3 a year, one in February, one in May/June and one in October/November. Hope you enjoy!

Monday: Monday was boring. I really didn't do anything. I was just at home, watching YouTube videos and writing a few Blog Posts. I didn't even leave the house...boring.

Tuesday: Tuesday was a bit more exciting! Today I got up late and took all the picture's for my 'Get Ready With Me' post I did earlier on in the week. In the afternoon I made pancakes and ate them and then the most exciting thing that has happened all this halfterm was...In the evening I went to see...(Drum Roll Please;)) LITTLE MIX. It was amazing! They are actually so good! Expect a post coming at the end of February all about it!

Wednesday: Today I was a bit tired after Little Mix last night but, I and the rest of my family all went shopping. It was fun! I got a new pair of shoes (blog post coming on them soon!) and lots of Lush Products (also got a Lush post coming soon on what I brought!). We also had a nice drink in Costa Coffee. I had a Hot Chocolate...they are so huge! That was basically my day!

Thursday: Another boring day. I got up late...again. Then had Lunch and caught up on a few 'YouTube' videos. Took some picture's for my Blog and pre-wrote some posts. In the evening I went to see my Great-Nan. I hadn't seen her since Christmas so that was nice! :)

Friday: Again another boring day. I've just been pre-writing Blog Posts and then walked into town with my family in the afternoon and went to the library to get 'Perks of being a Wallflower'. (Yay!)  That was all I did...so boring.

Writing that and reading it back makes me look like such a boring person. But to be honest...I think I am.

Now I'm just doing some last minute School things before going back tomorrow, really don't want to go! Can't wait for Easter! :D

Get Ready With Me! #1 | Believe In Beauty

Hey! :)

So today's post is going to be my first ever 'Get Ready With Me'. I've decided to one of these because the other day I went to see Little Mix and I kind of spent the whole day getting ready making sure I looked nice! So I took a few snaps throughout the day and I will show you the outfit I wore and any products I used. I will do a VERY very mini review on the products I used! Warning: There's lots of pictures, so if picture's aren't for you, you better X out now! Also if you want any detailed reviews of any of the products mentioned in this post, I am more than happy to do them! Just leave a comment down below! :)

So after I'd had my breakfast I started the day with a Face Mask. This is the 'ALOE Protective Restoring Mask' from the Body Shop. I just finished it up today, so expect it coming in an Empties Post in the near future! I really like this, it makes your face feel very hydrated and smooth! I left it on for about 10-15 minutes  (whilst I did some Blog Photos and Blogging, hehe!).

Then I washed off my Face Mask and my skin was left feeling ultra Soft! Then I brushed my hair out and it was time to wash it! Not something I like doing :( It takes forever!

I chose to use my 'James Brown' Shampoo and Conditioner because I use this for Special Occasions or when my hair is feeling really dull and needs lighting up. I got it for Christmas and so far I am loving it! It keeps your hair in really good condition and makes it sooooo soft!

It says it Hydrates dry hair and I believe it does! It's a great product!

Then I brushed my hair out with a comb and left it to dry naturally. I did this because it's better for your hair, plus I'm lazy and drying my hair takes to long! ;)

I also got changed and I wanted to wear something comfy before I got changed into my 'posher' outfit for the concert in the evening. So this is what I started the day wearing.

A Burgundy/Purplish/Pinkish Cable Knit Jumper from New Look. I love this Jumper it's so snugly! Underneath I just have a White Vest Top, also from New Look!

This is my whole outfit. The Brown Aztec Leggings are also from New Look. I love them! :D Sorry I don't know any of the prices of the clothes! :(

Then I cleaned my Teeth and washed my Face! I used the Body Shop 'Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash' to wash my face. I use this daily, morning and night. It's really nice! Then to Moisturize my face, I used the Clean and Clear 'Dual Action Moisturizer' . I don't really like it, but I'm trying to use it up to get rid of it. I'm planning to do a full detailed Blog Post on it soon so keep your eyes peeled for it!

I then did my nails! I used a nice pink colour from Rimmel and some Glitter over the top from Nails Inc. I was going to do a blog post of my nails separately but I had to rush painting my nails so sorry about that!

My hair was then dry and I just kept it down:)

For my outfit I wore my blouse/top from Topshop that I wore to the Pantomime  I love this top so much and wear it all the time...tehe ;)

I tucked the blouse into some Black shorts and tights this time! And that was basically my whole outfit. When I got to the concert I brought a top and put it over...didn't take any picture's though! Sorry! And also I got no full outfit shots as I was in a rush. I always seem to be in a rush...haha! I also wore my Tramp Boots!

I just wore this Natural Collection mascara and concealed a few sports with the Rimmel Concealer.

I put some Vaseline on, which is my 'Pink Bubbly' one.

And then wore a Body Shop Lipgloss, which is so pretty and smells amazing!

I then finished off with a spray of the Lynx 'Attract For Her' and a squirt of my Britney Spears 'Radiance' perfume which I love!

I really hope you enjoyed this quick post! Hopefully it was more interesting them some of my other ones! Request some more Posts down below! I still have loads of ideas for Posts for the future but I want even more!

Thanks for reading! Bye:)

Product Rave: Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub! | Believe In Beauty

Most of the time I normally walk past the Soap and Glory stand in Boots, not really thinking much of it. But how wrong was I?! After many Youtubers and Bloggers have raved about the Sugar Crush Body Scrub from Soap and Glory, I was so tempted to buy it and I'm so glad I did! It's perfect!

I pretty much love everything about it. First of all the smell is amazing. The main smell is lime and it's so lovely. I can always smell it on my skin after I've used it and as I've talked about before, I love it when I can smell products on my skin. I just love, love the smell! However if you are not one for strong smells, I wouldn't recommended this, it's quite overpowering. I just wish I could scoop it out and eat it. It looks so tasty, haha.

Secondly, it leaves your skin feeling super soft! I left it on the side of my bath for ages thinking "will it live up to it's high expectations?" or "will my skin react to it?" (I've got really sensitive skin!) and the other day I tempted myself to use it and I'm so glad I did! I scooped it out of the pot, and rubbed it all over my legs and arms. After I'd given it a good scrub and rinsed it all off and got out the bath, my arms and legs were so smooth. I don't know how to describe the smoothness, but lets just say the were very smooth. I couldn't stop touching the smoothness, I'm so weird haha.

I have used a bit more since this picture was taken. Even my Mum has used it and said she really liked it. The only things I would say I dislike about is the price and the appearance. It's pretty pricey...£8. It's not too bad but too some people it could be a lot. I just think it should be a bit lower. Also the appearance is slightly gross, I'm not going to lie and pretend I like it because I don't. The appearance was one of the things that did put me off a bit, I just think it looks slightly weird.

I also think the product lasts for quite a while. I've used it 3-4 times (plus however many times my Mum has used it) and there's still so much left. It's good how you only need to have a little bit and it does so much. It's such a good exfoliator for the skin, leaving it feeling fresh and smooth.

Overall, I can't really fault this product other than the appearance and price. It's just so lovely, smells delicious, works amazingly and pleases a lot of people...yay!

Thanks for reading...hope you enjoyed. I'm now on half term so I will be writing lots of Blog posts, taking pictures for my Blog, uploading Posts and getting a bit more organised with my Blog. So look out for lots more posts coming in the next few weeks!

Lush 'The Enchanter' Bath Ballistic Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hello!

You may (or may not!) remember one of my first posts, back in October 2012, was a Lush haul where I purchased 4 things. 3 months later and I've finally used one of the bath bombs and this post is dedicated to it.

Being a massive Lush fan I love, love, love trying loads of their different products and having Lush baths, so when I saw 'The Enchanter' Bath Ballistic, I couldn't wait to try it. It looked amazing, it smelt amazing and I'd heard amazing reviews about it, (link here if you're interested! https://www.lush.co.uk/product/6107/The-Enchanter ) so I was intrigued to buy it.

Over this weekend I have been at a friend's birthday sleepover (hey Meg if you're reading!;)) so going to bed early hours of the morning has made me a bit tired. I came back today and had a bath and used this. The smell is amazing, it's so refreshing and really made me more awake plus it made me feel very relaxed in the bath which is always nice!

When you put it in the bath though it's amazing! It changes from Orange, to Yellow to Pink and leaves you with a vibrant orange colour in your bath which is actually so pretty! It also made my skin feel smooth and fresh.

It may look really pretty, but is an absolutely death trap to your bath. I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, (please let me know in the comments!) but it stained my bath! It stained it pink round the ages which you could kind of see in the picture and it stained it a pastel orange colour at the bottom after all the water had gone. This is not the 1st time this has happened either so I was hugely disappointed that this has happened again. My mum was also not happy and spent a fair amount of time scrubbing the bath trying to get it off. It has eventually come off now but is still very faint orange in a few places but hopefully that will fade over time. You want to be relaxed after a bath, not scrubbing it because it's ruined your bath and your panicking what your mum will say! Maybe I've got a dodgy bath? I don't know but please let me know in the comments if you have experienced the problem or know what's causing it!

Apart from it staining my bath, I was impressed with it. I liked the...

  • Colours it fizzed.
  • The freshness of the smell.
  • The smoothness it brought to your skin.
  • And it just making your bath happier!
Thank you so much for reading! Hope you enjoyed and let me know if you want me to review any more Lush products because I will buy and try just for you!

Cutex Nail Polish Remover Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hello!

Can't believe it's February already, January went so fast!

I don't know about you but personally I am very picky with what Nail Polish Remover I use. I like ones that don't make your nails feel weak afterwards and ones with a not too strong smell as these give me slight headaches. I also like ones that take your nail polish off quickly as I'm very lazy when it comes to removing my nail polish to change it or to take it off for school, e.t.c. However I have found the perfect one that doesn't give me headaches, doesn't give me weak nails and is quick!

I really like this Nail Polish remover from Cutex because it's designed for weak nails and I can see why. I have used hundreds of Nail Polish removers in the past and afterwards my nails have been left feeling weird and VERY breakable. This one however, does not! They don't feel weird, they just feel like nails before having any nail polish on. They feel strong and don't break.

The smell isn't over powering either so that's another good bonus. It takes a short amount of time to remove them and can get off thick nail varnish (lots of coats) and sparkly nail varnish off very quickly too, as you know I do love my sparkles! It is also reasonably cheap, so another good thing about it!

I never dread removing my Nail Polish anymore, I look forward to it because I know it will be a quick job and not damage my nails afterwards...yay!

Thanks for reading this quick post!

Bye:)
