Lush: Magic Wand Bubble Bar Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Another Lush Christmas review today and I am going to be reviewing the Magic Wand Bubble Bar, that has come out in previous years as well as 2013.
Magic Wand is presented on a Stick, with a bit of Pink Ribbon and a tiny Bell, that rattles when you swish it in the Water. The Magic Wand is a Pink Star and has the typical Snow Fairy scent, with a featured ingredient of Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute, which I personally love! The smell lingers on your Skin afterwards and fills up the Bathroom. I have to say though, I thought the Stick would break, as the Star is quite heavy but fortunately it did not!
Whilst swishing Magic Wand Bubble Bar around the Bath (or if you prefer to hold it under the running water tap) you get tons and tons of soft-sweet scented Bubbles, which leave your Skin feeling lovely and smooth. It also tints the Bath Water a cute, Pink/Peach colour, which I loved and there was no staining!

I managed to get about 5 Baths out of this, I never thought it was going to end. I think that is a good amount, seeing as it is priced at about £4.95. I do love this cute Bubble Bar and will definitely repurchase again!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Lush: Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Sorry for not posting a Lush review in ages, I was really busy with School work and what not. Anyway, today I am still getting through the Christmas reviews and I am going to be reviewing Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic.
This is Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic. This is a massive, gold all over but white bow Bath Ballistic, in the shape of a present. It has tiny bits of Red Glitter all over the top of it and when you shake it, it rattles. Just like a real present! It has a very strong citrusy smell, with it's feature ingredients being sweet Orange Oil, Cognac Oil and Lime Oil, which lingered on the Skin afterwards.
As soon as you pop it into the Bath, it releases a foamy layer of white Bubbles, but then the Bath Water starts to go a Golden colour. However, the Bath Ballistic has an inside layer of Blue, which suddenly overtakes leaving the Bath Water a beautiful aqua Blue colour.

There was also a random pop of Pink colour, which was really exciting! There was also lots of tiny little Stars that hung around for a bit before dissolving. This Bath Ballistic left my Skin feeling very smooth and nourished. However, I found that it took forever to dissolve and I ended up breaking the bow with my Hands. But the Glitter didn't stick to my Skin and the Water didn't stain the Bath!

Overall, at £3.25, this is a fantastic Bath Ballistic. It's my favourite Christmas one and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed.

Recent Purchases! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

At the Weekend I did a tiny bit of Shopping but actually only came Home with 2 things. However, I absolutely love what I brought and I thought I would show you it today!
First of all I brought a Ted Baker Make Up Bag! I've been wanting one of these for ages and I love it. It's the Pink one with the Black bow. It's so gorgeous! It's called the Small Bow Vinyl Wash Bag but it's not actually that small, I'd say it's more of a medium size. It also appears much more bigger inside and I can fit all my current everyday Make Up in, with lots of free space!

The second thing I brought (which I'm so excited about) is my 1st EVER MAC product! I got the Mineralized Skin Finish in 'Lust', which is a gorgeous dark Pink colour. I think this is going to be perfect for the Summer and I can't wait to start wearing it. I will definitely review it when I've tried it for long enough!

Thankfully, both of these items were brought from an outlet store so they were discounted. The Ted Baker Make Up Bag was suppose to be £22.00 but was actually £14.00 and the Mac Mineralized Skin Finish was suppose to be £22.00 but was actually £15.50. It's definitely always worth checking out outlet stores!

I really hope you enjoyed this Post and liked seeing my new buys, I love them! I hope maybe it's given you some inspiration to see what beautiful bargains you can find. Thanks for reading!

Lush Collection Part 5! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Sorry for this Post not going up on Sunday, but I was super busy and today is the earliest I could get it up! Normal blogging schedule will continue now.

Today is Part 5 to my Lush Collection. You will be glad to find out that this is the last collection with Christmas items and part 6/7 will feature Mother's Day and Easter products, along with some new ones too :)
The first product I have is the Snowman Bath Ballistic from my Festive Goodies Gift Set that I received for Christmas from my Nan! This little guy is super cute and has a very Christmassy/Chocolatey scent. I have reviewed this previously HERE, which you can all go check out! I love how the Bath Water turns Red.
Next up I have the Father Christmas Bath Ballistic, which has an amazing scent and I did grow to love this year. I have also had about 4 of these this year, which is insane! Anyway, I love the bright Green Bath you have left behind and you can read my review of it HERE. I received this in my Festive Goodies Gift Set.
Luxury Lush Pud next, which was new to the Lush Christmas Range in 2013 but I really enjoyed it, it looks really intriguing to start off with. The best part is how PINK the Bath Water goes afterwards, which you can see in my Review HERE. I received this in my Christmas Pudding Gift Set, from my Auntie and Uncle for Christmas.
Another Father Christmas Bath Ballistic, so not much to say about this really. I just can't believe I had so many this year! I received this one in my Santa's Grotto Gift Set from my Mum and Dad for Christmas. You can read my Review of it HERE. I know you really want to read it!
Ahh...my favourite EVER Bubble Bar! Meet Candy Mountain, the most amazingest (totally just made up that word) Bubble Bar you ever did see. It has the gorgeous Snow Fairy Scent and produces Pink Bubbles, and a lot of Bubbles. You can read my Review of it HERE. I received this in my I Want Candy Gift Set, from my Sister for Christmas.
My poor little Christmas Penguin is broken! It came broken in my Festive Goodies Gift Set which was highly disappointing. Nonetheless, I love this little guy. He's so cute, smells amazing and produces Light Blue Bubbles in the Bath Water. You can read my Review of it HERE
Sorry...another Snowman Bath Ballistic, so not much more to say about it. However, I got this in my Santa's Grotto Gift Set and you can Read my Review of it HERE
Finally, a Bath Ballistic that you've not seen in this Post yet, but it's Cinders! A trusty favourite of everybody's! This has a lovely, warm, spicy scent, popping candy but turns the Bath Water a Yellow colour, which is a bit ew. Anyway, I also received this in my Christmas Pudding Gift Set and you can Read my Review of it HERE

Not going to lie, but I think I am glad to see the back of the Lush Christmas products until October. I'm looking forward to trying the Spring and Summer products. Hopefully you still enjoyed this Post and thank you for reading!

My Disney Princess Obsession | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

In the April Holidays I was shopping in Tesco's and came across the beauty that was Princess Kinder Eggs. Now, hopefully you all know what a Kinder Egg is, it's basically a mini Chocolate Egg where you get a little toy inside, but you have no idea what could be in there. Anyway, so Kinder Egg had started selling 7 Princesses that you could find inside these Eggs.

Being a lover of Disney and especially Disney Princesses, I came a bit obsessive over these Princesses and wanted EVERY SINGLE ONE. At first, I was quite happy with my Sleeping Beauty but every time I went back into Tesco, I found myself popping more Kinder Eggs into the trolley. Next I had Belle and Snow White and then I felt like I was getting nowhere when all I wanted was Rapunzel and could not find her anywhere!

After another 2 weeks of searching for Rapunzel, a trip to Co-op brought Rapunzel and Jasmine straight to me. However, at this point I and my Sister were getting very close to finishing the collection but my Sister beat me to it. She finished it on Bank Holiday Monday and I was quite annoyed, so I rushed back to Co-op to buy 3 more and I was one up when Ariel came.

Look how cute they are!
My obsession was getting so bad that I was shaking all the Eggs to see if I could recognise the Cinderella shake as she was the only one I needed, bearing in mind that they were going out of stock for forever at this point.

I found myself going to Co-op like every day after School and getting more Kinder Eggs and it finally happened on the 10th of May when I went to Co-op and brought the 6 remaining Kinder Eggs (that was literally how obsessed I was) and there she was...beautiful Cinderella.

I know have the whole collection and feel very, very happy. They are all sat on one of my mini drawers and I love looking at them, they are so cute.

So I'm not really sure what this Post was to be honest, but I just felt like I needed to tell you about these wonderful Kinder Eggs, even though you can't even buy them anymore (maybe 1 or 2 leftover though). However, there is a tiny point to this, I am going to be starting a new series where I show you a product I love beginning with the Princess letter name, e.g Rapunzel could be a Rimmel product and I will write a little review.

I hope you enjoyed this Post and thanks for reading!

The Milkmaid Braid | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Sorry no Spring Look-book today, it is taking a bit longer than I first expected so bare with me whilst I get that sorted but it should be up in the next couple of weeks.

Very recently Zoella made a video to show us all how she does a Milkmaid Braid. I loved the style and felt very inspired to try it on my own Hair today. It's very simple and even though I don't think I suit it, I tried it anyway.
Zoella Milkmaid Braid
So here it is, it's very simple to do. All you need to do is plait two bits of your hair on either side of your head, and then wrap each Plait over the top of your Head and voila! I told you it was super easy!

I think this Hairstyle is perfect for Spring/Summer because it has recently been quite hot and I've been wanting to get my Hair out of my face and neck and this has been a great Hairstyle for it.

Thanks for reading and I really hope you enjoyed!

Mid-Week Pamper Pick-Me-Ups! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Today I thought I would bring up the topic of pampering yourself's. It's ALWAYS important to take time out of the day to relax and there's no better way to do this than a pamper evening. However, I know lots of people run busy lifestyles and find it impossible to find time to do these things. Don't worry because I have found a way to fit this into your daily routines just nicely and that is what I'm sharing with you today.

Personally, I recommend doing this on a Wednesday and a Sunday. A Wednesday because it's the middle of the week and your bound to feel tired and you need something to keep you going until the Weekend. A Sunday because it's the end of the week, your exhausted and you need something to prepare you for the busy week ahead. Let's begin...

1. The first step is to apply a Face Mask. My best recommendation for this is the Una Brennan Clay Mask, because it is a deep pore cleanser and frees your face of any dirt, smooths out the skin and evens out the skin tone. You should apply the Face Mask and then get in the Bath with it on. This might seem weird BUT the steam from the Bath will open your pores and let the Mask sink deeply in.
2. The second step is to run a lovely Bath. Baths are way better than Showers on Pamper days. However, I know they can be boring so treat yourself to a Lush Bubble Bar or Bath Ballistic (or if you don't like Lush, some other Bath company but I personally recommend Lush) which will be really beneficial to the Skin, make you smell lovely and relax you. So jump in with your face mask on and maybe take a book to read, if you like reading or have enough time.
 3. In the Bath, use your favourite body products, you need to pick a shower gel and exfoliator! Obviously I can't give you a recommendation for this but I normally use a Body Shop shower gel and I'm currently using the Satsuma one because I have a matching exfoliator for it as well. An exfoliator is really great for the Skin as it will get rid of all the dead skin cells and leave a smooth layer of Skin and the Shower Gel will make you smell lovely!
4. Get out of the Bath and rinse of your Face Mask and hopefully your Skin is feeling great! Now it's time to dry off and moisturise. I do have a recommendation for this and this is the Soap and Glory 'Butter Yourself' moisturiser, to leave your Skin feeling even more smooth and it dries very quickly, so there's no time wasted.
6. Have a drink and something to eat. I normally have a glass of milk or hot chocolate with 2 bourbons but you can have whatever.

7. Now do your everyday night time routine, cleaning your teeth, washing your face, e.t.c but wash your face with an exfoliator, to get rid of dead skin cells and leave an even base. Then it's time to moisturise your face, which will leave your Skin feeling very replenished.
8. Now get into Bed! You could read a book, watch YouTube videos/TV/Film or just go straight to sleep. I normally watch YouTube videos for about half an hour.

So that is the pamper routine complete! I do this every Wednesday and Sunday and it just slots in with my normal routine and takes about an hour. I love doing this and I think you will enjoy it just as much! Thanks for reading and I really hope you enjoyed!

30 Beauty Questions TAG! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So today I thought I would do a TAG seeing as I haven't done one in ages and it fits nicely in with my schedule. I was tagged by the lovely vintagelovehearts to do the 30 Beauty questions TAG, so that is what I will be doing today.

Questions:

1. Do you remember your first makeup item?
I do! I think it was a clear lip gloss from Natural Collection in Year 7. I wore it every day and was constantly applying it.

2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specification?
Ok well, first of all it has to add a LOT of length to the lashes along with a lot of volume. However, I also want it to look quite natural and not at all clumpy. I also want it to add a natural curl as well. I think the Maxfactor 'false lash' and 'xperience' are good Mascaras for the job.

3.What kind of coverage do you prefer from a foundation?
Although I don't wear foundation, I will like a really light coverage, so it doesn't look like you've got any on but it's still enough to cover blemishes/spots/pores, e.t.c.

4. Favourite high end brand?
I very much enjoy Benefit. Although, I haven't tried many high end products, they have mostly been from Benefit. I've tried one of their mascaras, primers and concealers and enjoyed all of them.

5. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't?
MAC! There is so much talk around the brand MAC but I really want to try their concealer, eye shadows and lipsticks.

6. Favourite drugstore brand?
I don't really have a favourite, but I mostly like things from Maybelline, Rimmel and Bourjois.

7. Do you wear fake eyelashes?
Nope! I do have a pair from a glossybox that look intriguing to try, but I never have and probably won't for a while as they slightly scare me with the glue!
8. Is there any kind of makeup you can't leave the house without?
I would say 2 things in particular. I can't leave the house without filling in my eyebrows with my Rimmel eyebrow Pencil or putting a bit of Lipstick or Lipgloss on, normally the Maybelline Baby Lips in 'Pink Punch' or Tanya Burr Lipgloss in 'Picnic In The Park'.

9. What is your most cherished beauty product?
Hmm, I'm not really sure because I don't have much high end stuff but I do adore my Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in '03 Fuchsia Libre'.

10. How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?
I like to pick up things here and there because I find that I don't need to buy (or stop myself from buying) lots of things at once as it can become a bit excessive!

11. Do you have a "beauty budget" or spend freely?
I like to think I have a "beauty budget" by sticking to Drugstore products but I can still go a little bit over-the-top in Boots and Superdrug.

12. Do you utilise coupons, rewards cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
Not really, but I do put a few points on my Mum's beauty cards and take advantage of sales or offers, like 3 for 2 or buy one get one free.

13. What type of product do you buy the most?
Probably concealers and lip products!

14. Is there a brand that you absolutely can't stand?
Hm, I don't think there is! I mean I don't buy from every single brand but I don't have a hate against any.

15. Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens and sulfates?
I know it's bad but I never really think about it. However, I am aware of parabens and I don't like to use products with them in, but I sometimes still do. :/

16. Do you have a favourite place to shop for makeup?
Boots or Superdrug, normally!

17. Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?
In my previous post I showed you my current skincare routine which I've been sticking too for a while now but the odd Face Mask or Spot Gel can get switched around.

18. Favourite bath and body brand?
Do you really need to ask me this question? LUSH OF COURSE! I mention Lush in so many of my posts and I just love all things about it!

19. If you could only buy from one brand, which brand would you choose?
Hm, tough question! I think Rimmel because they have great foundations, concealers, eyebrow pencils, mascaras, powders, lip products and more!

20. What brand do you think has the best packaging?
Hmm, well I think the Maybelline "Baby" products like that Baby Lips and Baby Skin are the best in drugstore, but I love how Benefit and Soap and Glory are also packaged.
21. Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Hm, I think Nicole Sherzinger always has beautiful make up!

22. Do you belong to any online beauty communities?
No!

23. 5 favourite Beauty gurus:
Zoella, Tanya Burr, Sprinkle of Glitter, Fleurdeforce and Pixiwoo.

24. Do you like malfunction products like lip and cheek stains?
I had one in my Glossybox but I did not enjoy it, it was definitely too bold for the cheeks but looked nice on the Lips.

25. Are you clumsy at putting makeup on?
Um, not really but maybe a little bit with my eyebrows sometimes.

26. Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
No, not ever!

27. How many Hair products do you use on a typical day?
I only use Hair products on washing days which is 3 times a week. This consists of my Shampoo and Conditioner which is Aussie and a leave-in treatment product after my Shampoo and Conditioner.

28. What do you apply first, concealer or foundation?
I don't wear foundation, but if I did I think I would apply my concealer first.

29. Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
I think they would be fun to do so maybe!

30. What do you love about makeup?
I just love how you can create so many different looks with it and you can wear beautiful lip and eye colours.

So that was the very long TAG but I hope you enjoyed nonetheless! Thanks for reading and I'll see you in a few days time in my next post! Stay tuned!

My Current Skincare Routine! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Today I am going to be talking about something, that I rarely talk about and that is Skincare! Last year I got into a really good Skincare routine and my Skin was quite good and less spotty. However, from last August to January I very rarely stuck to it and my Skin has been a pain ever since and definitely more spotty. However, I've managed to get it all under control and I have developed a new Skincare routine which I think my Skin is thanking me for! I am going to share with you the products I use on a daily/weekly basis.

Before I start I will just tell you about my Skin type. My Skin is definitely combination. It's very oily around my Nose and Chin, but also gets very dry down the tip of my Nose and on my Jaw line and then it's just normal everywhere else.

Meet my Skincare products:

1. The Body Shop Vitamin E 'Gentle Facial Wash': I use this every single day, morning and night to wash my Face. It is a very creamy wash, so like it says in the name it's gentle on my Skin and doesn't sting. It also removes make up, so it takes off my eyebrows very nicely (that sounds very weird). It also smells nice and overall I love it.

2. The Body Shop Vitamin E 'Cream Exfoliator': Unlike the Face wash, I do not use this every single day. I only use it on Wednesday's and Sunday's. This has to be my favourite Exfoliator that I have ever tried. It gets rid of dry Skin patches and all the dead Skin cells and leaves my Face feeling very smooth and looking brighter.

3. Simple Black Head Eliminating 'Face Scrub': I use this on Wednesday and Sunday's and mix it with my Body Shop Vitamin E 'Cream Exfoliator'. This does a good job as I have noticed a difference in my Skin, in the fact that I have a lot less Black heads now, and let's be honest...no one likes Black heads!

3. Clean And Clear 'Dual-Action Moisturiser': This moisturiser is another daily product, I use this morning and night. It works really well with my Skin. It's oil-free so being someone with greasy skin this is a massive bonus. My Skin is left feeling very smooth and it helps to tone down any Blemishes that I may have. I don't think it prevents Spots completely though!

5. Una Brennan Tea Flower Deep Clean 'Pore Purifying Clay Mask: This has to be my favourite face mask that I've tried in a very long time. I used to love my Avon one, but this one has over took it. I use this twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday. I leave it on for about 5 minutes and it gets deep into the Pores and clears all the dirt that may be in them. I can definitely notice a difference in my Skin straightaway, it is left feeling smoother, brighter and has a more even profile.

6. Simple Rapid Action 'Spot Zapper': Gah, no matter how hard I try and keep in my routine those pesky spots will never disappear, to be honest I think they are just annoying Teenage ones. I pop this on my Spots and it cools them down and helps to remove any redness and makes them look less noticeable. It's also really gentle for my sensitive skin. Although, it doesn't really get rid of the spot straightaway it's only £5.00 so I'm not complaining. Obviously, I just use this whenever I have a Spot.

7. Bio Oil: Thank goodness for Bio Oil. From not caring for my Skin over the Christmas period, all that unhealthy eating placed a ton of Spots on the bottom of my Chin. I picked them away and they didn't fully go until February. However, they've scarred really badly so I've been using this Bio Oil and it is slowly fading them away each day. I use this at night time, when my Skin does the most repairing.

8. The Body Shop Nutriganics 'Smoothing Night Cream': Now,I know this is for the first signs of ageing, but I do not use it every day. I use it about 1-2 times a week, at night time (when your Skin does the most repairing) just over my pores. I think it's smoothing them out so they look less noticeable and hopefully it will prevent them from getting any bigger because nobody likes pores. It's also really moisturising, so leaves my Skin feeling smooth.

9. EOS Strawberry Lip Balm: Finally, I know this doesn't really count as a Skincare product, but I thought I would include it anyway because I use it on my Lips, which are on my Face! This Lip Balm is really nice and smells of Strawberries. It keeps my Lips from being chapped and are left feeling very smooth and there's no horrible dry bits. Also, it helps for Lip Glosses to go on better.

So, they are the 9 products that I use to control my very annoying Skin. Maybe one day my Skin will be perfect and spot-free, but I doubt it. I can't remember the last day I didn't have one noticeable spot. :(

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed and have been inspired to get into a better Skincare routine like me!

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Back on January 30th 2014, Tanya Burr brought out her new collection of Nail Varnishes and Lip Glosses. I've already reviewed her Nail Varnishes (which you can read HERE), so today I thought I would review her Lip Glosses. At the beginning of April her Lip Glosses and Nail Varnishes came into SOME Superdrug stores, so that's where I picked mine up from. Today I am doing an overall review of, 'Aurora', 'Smile, Dream, Sparkle' and 'Picnic In The Park' as those are the ones I have.
From top to bottom: 'Smile, Dream, Sparkle', 'Picnic In The Park' and 'Aurora'.
From top to bottom: 'Smile, Dream, Sparkle', 'Picnic In The Park' and 'Aurora'.
'Picnic In The Park'

From left to right: 'Smile, Dream, Sparkle', 'Picnic In The Park' and 'Aurora'.
Since I brought these 3 Lip Glosses, I've been non-stop wearing them. I love them a lot and have a lot of good things to say about them today. First of all, to apply them they come with a loaf-applicator brush which is very soft and helps the Lip Gloss to smoothly glide along the Lips. You need about 1-2 coats of the Lip Gloss because they are super pigmented and bold on the Lips. They also finish with a high-shine, glossy look whilst being slightly moisturising to the Lips.

I've found that these Lip Glosses stay on the Lips for roughly 3 hours before you would need to re-apply them to top up the gloss and colour. I think that's quite good but maybe it could be a little bit longer. However, the Lip Glosses have a really beautiful scent, it reminds me of sweets. Therefore, if you accidentally lick your lips or eat it, it's going to be a nice taste. I also think the packaging is really nice and the love hearts on the top of the lid add a really cute, girly touch.

The only two bad things I have to say about this product are very small things. First, they are a tiny bit sticky. I was in the Car with the roof down and my Hair was blowing everywhere and my hair started to stick on my Lips, which I didn't like! Also, they expire after 3 months, which is hardly anything and I don't think I will be able to use mine in that short time period.

Overall, Tanya's done another fantastic job at creating all these Lip Glosses because they are truly lovely. There is also a very wide range of colours, just like the Nail Varnishes, so there is something for everyone. You can pick up the Lip Glosses (and Nail Varnishes!) HERE and HERE

I really hope you enjoyed reading this review and are inspired to try these beautiful Lip Glosses! Thanks for reading!
