Maybelline Baby Lips Review! | Believe In Beauty

  Hey!:)

After searching everywhere for the Maybelline Baby Lips, I finally came across them in a very small Boots, whilst on Holiday. I had been looking online what colours I wanted, and decided to get Pink Punch, and I was very happy with my decision!

The concept of these are they are a lip balm, so will moisturise your lips, but they will also give colour to your lips, so it's like a 2 in 1, really good for travelling, as you won't have to take a lipstick and a lip balm. The Baby Lips do have scents, so if a scented lip product isn't for you, I wouldn't recommend you trying these. The Pink Punch is quite a fruity scent, and reminds me of the herbal essences shampoo.

The Lip Balm goes really smoothly onto the Lip and tints the lip a baby/barbie pink colour, which I suppose is a tiny bit lighter than the actual colour it first appears to be. (See swatch in the pictures).

On your lips they feel moisturising, not sticky or greasy, they even have a slight gloss and shine finish, but they claim to have an 8hr moisture, and I don't agree with this. I also find the colour fades quite quickly, so I do have to keep re-applying it. I do like the packaging of these, I know some people don't. I think they look cute and girly, and there nice to have in your make up bag.

For £2.99, I don't think you can really grumble and if you were to buy all 6 in the collection, you would have a great range of colours and therapies for the lips, at a cheap price. I definitely would like some more for my birthday, I've asked for Cherry Me, Peach Kiss, or the Intense Moisture one.

Thanks for reading my review, and I hope you enjoyed it and found it somewhat useful, I would definitely recommend you go try one, you have nothing to lose at £2.99.

A Week In Devon! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

As you all know, from the 17th of August, until the 24th August, I spent the week on Holiday, in Devon, and had a great time! It was so hot and sunny every day (best weather in ages! :O) and we mainly went to the Beach and stuff! I thought I would just show you some pictures from the days, as I like doing these kind of lifestyle type posts, and will do one about my birthday weekend, which is so close ahh! So here are the pictures. On Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we went to Dawlish Warren beach, and on Thursday we went to Shaldon Beach (the ness cove I think it was called), and Friday to Teignmouth!
Dawlish Warren
Sunny 1st day at Dawlish Warren
I love Dawlish Warren!

The sea was so blue!
I kept climbing up this little 'sand dune', and sliding down...ahahaha.
This is just so pretty!

Boat came through whilst we were sat on Shaldon Beach :)
This was probably the hottest and sunniest day of the week at Shaldon

Shaldon was so pretty :)
The opposite side of Shaldon
I love this picture!

Look it's Teignmouth Grand Pier!
The beach at Teignmouth

Loved this Hot Tub, so sad to leave it behind :(
More Dawlish Warren pics, think this was the 2nd or 3rd day?
I love the Beach!

Someone left their Rubber Ring behind, so we put it on the Groyne, haha!
So they are my favourite Holiday pictures that I thought I would share with you. We did also go to Weston-Super-Mere on the way home on Saturday, but I didn't take any pictues there, sorry. :(

Do you like these lifestyle posts? I'd like to do more of these. If you have any questions about Dawlish Warren, Shaldon, Teignmouth, e.t.c, pop them below! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

The Sunday TAG! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

I've got a few things to say before I start this post, so I will just quickly explain... You may (or may not!) have noticed my poor quality of posts last week, but I had to pre-write them and schedule them to upload all last week whilst I was on Holiday! I didn't really tell you that I was going on Holiday, as I wanted to write posts and tell you all about it afterwards. So that is my quick explanation on my really rubbish posts recently, but they are about to get a bit more interesting. I have lots of Holiday related posts such as: Holiday pictures, holiday review on the place we stayed, holiday bracelets, aftersun review and soon there will be a baby lip review as I found some on holiday, woo yeah!

So let's get onto today's post. Recently my very good friend Meg, from vintagelovehearts, tagged me in the 'Sunday TAG', so thankyou for that! I know it's not Sunday today, but I was meant to upload this on Sunday, but I was just getting back into the swing of things from my Holiday. Let's start the questions....

1. What shoe size are you?
I am a size 3/4, well basically a 3 and a half, sometimes 3's are too small, and 4's are too big, so it's awkward trying to buy shoes!

2. Where do you work?
No where, I just work at School ;)

3. Favourite piece of clothing you own?
Probably my Disco Pants, which I recently just purchased!

4. Your favourite Blog?
Sprinkle of Glitter, as she really regularly has lots of content to read and her posts are always really good. I also love Zoella, because her posts are always so interesting to read, and I like her lifestyle ones.

5. Do you have any pets?
Yeah I do :)

6. How many siblings do you have?
Just 1 Sister!

7. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
In England, in the South West, like Devon and Cornwall, because I love going there so much!

8. What were you doing before this?
Catching up on YouTube videos I missed whilst on holiday, and eating dinner.

9. Your favourite food?
Mash! It's quite weird, but I just love it and I have since I was little and I could eat it with literally anything, but I love it with good ol' baked beans! ;)

10. Do you have an middle name?
Yeah I do! :)

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this TAG! I thought it was really fun.

The Comforter Bubble Bar Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

It's Monday, and Lush review time! I'm going to be doing a quick review on the Comforter Bubble Bar, which is amazing!! HERE is the link on the LUSH website.
Here is the Comforter Bubble Bar. It is a massive Bubble Bar, which will lasts you for ages, I got about 9 baths out of it, which is pretty impressive. The lady in the Shop told me I would only get 3, people must use so much of the Bubble Bar, when you need the tiniest bit ever! She said it smelt like Ribena, which that I can agree on. The scent is very strong, fruity and not good if you were to suffer with headaches, as it lingers on the skin afterwards and in the air in the Bathroom. It's featured ingredient is Cassis Absolute, which reading more about is from Blackcurrant, which could explain the fruity/berry scent.
The Comforter produces tons and tons of soft bubbles, which turn the Bath Water a very bright Pink, and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth, it's lovely to bathe in! :)

So for £4.50, I don't think you can really go wrong, it would be better if it was cheaper, but I don't think I can grumble about it.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Loved Cath Kidston Hand Creams! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Today's post is going to be a quick review on Cath Kidston Hand Creams, let's get started!
Here they are, I'm going to be reviewing the Wild Rose, Bluebell and Honeysuckel, as these are the ones I've tried and loved. I got them in a pack for Christmas, so not sure how much they are or how much they would be individually,

The scents of these three Hand Creams, are very sweet and floral, quite girly scents and scents that linger on your Hands for quite a while, after applying it. If your not one for floral, sweet, girly scents, than obviously these are not for you.

I really like these Hand Creams, the formula is quite thick but surprisingly I don't find them sticky at all, they sink into the skin really quickly, even if you were to have a big amount of product, which you don't actually need. A little bit of Hand Cream, goes a long way! They are so moisturising and keep your hands soft and get rid of dry skin really quickly, they are miracle workers.

I would definitely recommend these, as they are a great all rounder. I would also say you only need to apply this twice a day, morning and night, as they last for a while and it will keep your hands soft throughout the day and keep them moisturised through the night, to wake up to soft smooth hands!

So I really hope you enjoyed this review. Do you think the Cath Kidston Hand Creams are better than the Soap and Glory Hand Food? Let me know in the comments!

Top 5 Lip Products! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

For today's post I thought I would talk to you about some really good Lip Products, and ones I think you should have in your selection.
Nivea Lip Balm: This is a really moisturising Lip Balm as it works quickly and soothes your lips without stinging them and gets rid of dry patches really well and is relatively cheap.

Vaseline: This is the Yellow Vaseline, which has SPF 15 in it, so is good for the Summer weather. It protects your lips really well, as no one likes burnt lips! The greasiness of the Lip Balm is really annoying though.

Nivea Lip Butter: This is yet again another good Lip Balm, which moisturises the lips, and sort of adds a bit of colour to them. It also smells amazing! I do find that it's a bit sticky though.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub: This is really good for exfoliating the Lips and getting rid of all the dry patches. It smells amazing, and you can eat it afterwards. It's quite expensive though.

Strawberry Balmi: This smells amazing and works so quickly to moisturise the lips and keep them in a good condition. It is also quite sticky, but I can look past this, as it is so good.

So yeah! My top 5 Lip Balms, I hope you enjoyed and maybe you have similar preferences to me? What are your favourite Lip Balms? Thanks for reading!

Lush: Ickle Baby Bot Bath Ballistic Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Monday has come again, and so has another Lush review. Today I am going to be reviewing the very cute Bath Ballistic, which is Ickle Baby Bot! At it's very cheap price of £1.90, you really can't go wrong if you want a little pep in your step! HERE is the link on the LUSH website, just in case you wanted to find out more, or even buy it.
Ickle Baby Bot, is quite a small Bath Ballistic, but ever so cute. It is a really light Blue colour, and smells delicious! It's quite a sweet smell, but soothing at the same time, and when you pop it in the Bath, it fills up the Bathroom, and lingers on your skin afterwards. Lush say it's featured ingredient is Lavender Oil, however, I can definitely smell no Lavender in it, haha.
Obviously, Ickle Baby Bot, is probably the cheapest Bath Ballistic (not actually sure without checking, but I would presume so), so it won't do amazing stuff to your Bath. What Ickle Baby Bot did do though, was fizz away, quite nosily and I always love it when the Bath Ballistics have noise to them. It also turned the Bath, a really pretty clear Blue colour, as you can see from the picture above. It was actually a really pretty colour, and so nice to Bathe in.

Ickle Baby Bot, is also good for soothing dry skin. I do get a tiny bit of dry skin on my legs, and it was nice to come out of the Bath, smelling nice, and feeling so smooth! So, even though this review has been short, as there's not too much to say, it's been straight to the point saying that it's a really nice Bath Ballistic, which is a good one for people who like calmer ones, and it was nice to relax in. Would I buy it again? YES! I've already repurchased another one, as it's cheap and lovely! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed.

My Everyday School Make Up Routine! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

I hate to say it, but going back to School is really quickly approaching us! So I thought today I would show you what kind of Make Up regime I follow for everyday School life. It's not a lot of Make Up, but oh well, it might be interesting to some!
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer in 010 Ivory: So after I've cleansed and moisturised and stuff, I will apply this concealer. I put it under my eyes to get rid of dark circles, spots, and any spot scars/blemishes. This is good and I'm enjoying using it!

Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder: I will then use this powder to set my concealer, and it helps me to stay looking matte and not oily/shiny. It's really good and I love it!

Avon Brush: To apply the Powder and Concealer, I will use this Avon brush, just to buff it into the Skin, and it works really well. It's nice and soft too. I think it could do with a wash though...oops.

Miss Sporty Just Clear Mascara: I use this clear Mascara, just to set my brows and keep them in place all day, as my brows are the worst things ever! It works well, and is the best one I've found yet, and it's only £2.99!

The Body Shop Lip Gloss in Raspberry: I use this just to give my face a bit of colour and it's really nice. It's a really pretty Pink colour, and tastes and smells quite nice too, haha!

So that's my routine! Very short, but this is good for me as I'm always in a rush in the mornings! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed.

Summer Haul! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So today's post is going to be a Summer Haul. Now I know I only did a Haul on Tuesday, but I didn't want to include Tuesday's bits into this Haul, so sorry that there's two, or maybe you enjoy them?! I've been collecting all this stuff from what seems like ages, so there was no better way than to name it a Summer Haul, hope you enjoy!
First are my Smurfette Pyjamas. I love the Smurfs, haha, so when my Mum brought me these back, I was super happy! They are from Primark, but can't remember how much they were. She also brought me some Hairbands, which were £1, bargain! Finally, she got me Ickle Baby Bot, as she knows how much I love it, and it was only £1.90!
Recently, my Nan went to the I.O.W and brought me back some lovely gifts. She got me this really cute bag, a love heart necklace, and some mixed flavours of stick of rock, which I've eaten, they were far too yummy to wait and photograph! ;)
A few more bits and bobs now! First is this Lush gift set, which is the Bloomin' Beautiful one, it has Think Pink and Pop In The Bath in it, my Mum got me it as a little treat, but it is £7.80 I think. My Mum also got me an average pack of Screen protectors, pretty boring and 2 Crop Tops from New Look, just a plain Pink one which was in the Sale, and a Flowery one which was not in the sale. I'm not sure of the prices though...sorry.
Next up are some Skater Skirts. The first one is just a light denim one from Topshop, and I really can't remember the price of it. I want to say £20, but I have no idea! The Mint Green one (my fave!), is one my Mum got me from Miss Selfridge, it was in the Sale, and was about £15. She said she couldn't leave it behind when she saw it because she knows how much I love Mint Green...haha.
Next are some bits from the Next sale. I'm kind of changing my room a bit at the moment, and wanted to get these love heart storage boxes, as they fit in with the theme of my room perfectly, and are good for storing things in a nice way! The first box has lip balms in, the second box has some nail art stuff in, and the third box has some body lotions/shower gels and that sort of stuff! Can't remember how much this was...sorry. :/
Another thing from the Next Sale is this really pretty White love heart ornament. I put this in my windowsill, and really love it! It again, matches in with my room theme perfectly! Not sure how much this was...
Finally, the last two things in this Haul. I got these Mint Green Vans, from the Next Sale, they were suppose to be £52, but I think I got them for £28, which is really good and back in March I wanted to get them, if you remember my Shopping Wishlist post I did! I also got a Mint Green strappy vest top from New Look, which was in the sale and was only about £2, really good money save there, haha! ;)

So that is everything! I feel like this Haul was a bit all over the place, but hope you enjoyed it nonetheless, and thanks for reading!

Byee!:)

P.S- I'm pre-writing this, just after I've had my Teeth out. I actually feel fine, I didn't enjoy the injections, and went a bit funny, but my Teeth don't really hurt anymore at the moment!

Nail Designs: Watermelon Nail Art! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

I know I said I would never do a Nail Art in this series, but this one is ever so simple, and is good if you can't do Nail Art very well (like me!) but want to give it a go. I will take you through it step by step, so it should be pretty easy! Let's go...
So first of all, get a dark/bright Pink colour and paint a base coat of it. The colour needs to be strong, so do as many coats as you need. I did 3, because the Nail Varnish I was using, started off quite sheer.
Next, paint about roughly a third of the nail, starting from the tip downwards (just like shown above) and make sure you do this in White. Again, you may need to do more than one coat, I did 2, so I got a really defined finish. I know mine looks a bit messy, but this is allowed if you're not very good like me...haha.
Now, take a bright green colour, and paint over the top of the White colour, leaving a thin line of the white at the bottom, like shown above. Again, you may need to do more than one coat, but I only did one this time and was happy with it. Now hopefully you can start to see the Watermelon appearing. You could leave it like this, as you can kind of get the jist of it, but if you want to get the full Watermelon effect, read onto the next step.
Now please don't laugh at the next bit, but it's ok if you do, because I know this is pretty rubbish! Basically, you need to take a black nail varnish, and draw some thin (yes thin, not like the fat ones I have drawn) and paint some Watermelon 'seeds', on it. I think 5 is a good amount to do, 2 at the top and 3 at the bottom. I would have done thinner lines, but the Nail Varnish I was using had a really fat brush, and this is the only one I had! If your not confident with doing the seeds, don't do this step. I probably won't next time!

So that is it,..how to do Watermelon nail art. I know mine was really rubbish, but I will continue to practice it. This is maybe a look you wouldn't want to wear in the Winter as it's quite Summery, so make sure you get wearing it quick!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed! I'm off to get 2 teeth out later, so that will be fun...not!

Mini Shopping Haul! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Unfortunately, I had already planned to do a really big Haul post for Friday's post, I am still going to do that (I think), but I went shopping on Sunday, and didn't want to include all that into Friday's Haul (it would have been too long!), so I'm going to do a separate post, I hope you don't mind. Let's get started!
So first I went to New Look, and got this really pretty floral skirt. I was just walking out the door, when I spotted this and loved it! This was only £9.99, which isn't too bad, I suppose. Hopefully I'll get lots of wear out of it, as I think you could easily wear it in the winter with a pair of tights, as well as bare legged in the Summer!
Then I went to Topshop, and I had a Voucher I needed to spend. After buying the Floral skirt, I thought I would get a Topshop Crop Top, in White, to go with it, as I love Topshop's Crop Tops! It was £8, so I had £2 left to spare on the Voucher, so I thought I would just get another pair of Topshop frilly socks, in a Pastel Blue colour, and I only had to pay £1.50 off my own money for them!
Then I went into Boot's, and got 2 Barry M Nail Varnishes. The orange colour is 328 Mango, and the Green colour is 326 Key Lime. I got two because it was buy one, get the 2nd one half price, which is an okay offer, so I payed £3.99, for one and £1.99 for the other. Then I got my go to Miss Sport Just Clear Mascara, for my Brows, as this is the one I found best to work for them, and it's really cheap, it's like £2.99?! Finally, I got a Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in the colour Celestial, which I had been wanting for absolutely ages and ages! It's a really pretty Pink, and it was £6.49.
Next up I went to Superdrug, to get a Pretty Quik', Manicure on the go, instant Nail Polish remover, as I've had it before and it's quick and easy, (like it says!) and is only £2.49! I also got the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, in 010 Ivory, as I've been wanting to try this for ages and it's actually so far so good! It was £5.49, a little bit pricier than my Collection one! ;)
Finally, no Shopping trip is complete without popping into Lush. I got two of my favourites which are Fizzbanger, which is £3.20, and Dorothy, which is £2.99. I am so looking forward to using these again! :D

So that's everything I brought! I also got some Cookies, a Drink, Sandwich, and Percy Piglets from Marks and Spencer, and a Hot Chocolate with Cream and Marshmallows, even though they gave me no Marshmallows, from Costa...annoying! I had a great day on Sunday!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Lush: Melting Marshmallow Moment Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So it's Monday...I'm wondering how many Monday's we've had with Lush reviews now?! Today is a review on the Melting Marshmallow Moment. I've not reviewed a 'luxury', Bath Melt yet, so here is one today! HERE is the link on the LUSH website, just in case you were interested.
Here is the Melting Marshmallow Moment. The thing that drew me to it the most was the smell, it's heavenly and smells just like Snow Fairy, and the Godmother Soap, so if you like the scents of those, you will like this. And if Snow Fairy leaves you with post Christmas blues, this will brighten your day. I was really not sure what to expect from a Bath Melt at first, and didn't know if the price of £3.85, was reasonable. When you put it in the Bath, because some of the main ingredients are almond oil and cocoa butter, it will leave your skin feeling very soft and smooth, which mine did feel like. It also contains ingredients such as Chamomile, Marigold and Marhmallow, which Lush claim they will calm your irritated or delicate skin. I don't really have irritated skin, so I can't really comment on this, but I do trust Lush, and would agree it probably does help!
Never using a Bath Melt before, I didn't really know how much to put in, so I only got 3 Baths out of it. I would have liked more, but when I used it next time, I think I will get more Baths out of it, as now I know what to expect and how much to put it!

When I did put it in, it tinted the Bath a really faint Pink colour, even if you put a lot or little amount of the Bath Melt in, it didn't affect how dark or light the colour would be. Personally, I would have liked the colour a bit brighter, but oh well!

It also didn't really do much else to the Bath. I used quite a lot of it, on the first go, as I was waiting and waiting for Bubbles (or Foam, which Lush say it produces on the website), but nothing really came, and it produced a very little amount of Bubbles, a bit disappointing!

Is £3.85 a lot to pay, when you could get a cheaper moisturiser out there, which would last longer and probably work a tiny bit better...you decide! I would buy it again, just because the smell and the softness of my skin was lovely and obviously it's a nice little treat now and again!

So I did go Shopping yesterday, and brought 2 things from Lush, so look out for those in tomorrow's Shopping Haul! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Collection: Lasting Perfection Concealer Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So today's post is a quick review on the most raved about concealer in the whole beauty community! I had seen this everywhere, on blogs, in YouTube videos, and pretty much everyone loved it. I thought for the cheap price tag of £4.19 (I think?!), it was worth a try. Let me tell you now, I was not very impressed.
First of all, I made a bad mistake of getting a colour that was too orange for me. Buying this back in February, I was quite pale and trying to wear this was impossible. It just made me look orange, and was really noticeable on my face. I wasn't going to go out and buy it again in a paler colour, as I hadn't tested it properly, and had not got a proper opinion of it just yet, so I thought I would try making it work, with a bit of powder to make it paler. I didn't really see much of a difference.

So as we are here in Summer now, I am a teeny, tiny, bit more tanned, it didn't make much of a difference though. I just can't get rid of the 'orangey' tone in the concealer. I try and try to blend it in, and I just end up rubbing it off, therefore it doesn't cover any blemishes.

I also notice that it comes on my skin really cakey. It makes my skin look bumpy, and doesn't cover over my pores, so makes them stand out really noticeably and looks stupid. I think if I had the right skin tone, (but unfortunately I don't think I will fit any shades, seeing as there is only 4 to pick from), I think I could make it work, as it is a really thick consistency, so is good for covering up things. Well, that is unless you try to blend it too much as it is so orange, so eventually disappears, like what happens to me!

I would definitely say it is not an 16 hour wear. I put it on for School and it will have rubbed off by the time I get home, even when powdering down. I also think the concealer could give a higher coverage, then maybe it would last longer? It's also annoying how the bottle gets really messy, and all the writing rubs off. It looks old and not good for blog photos, so I do apologise.

So I really can't understand the blogger hype about this. I definitely wouldn't buy it again, and I don't plan to. I wish I could make it work, but I can't. Maybe you have some tips for me to make it work? Or comment down below an alternative concealer, it would be much appreciated! I'm so sad that I don't like this, I really wish I did. Sad times!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed, even though it was a very negative post, haha.
