Lush: Pumpkin Bubble Bar Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Happy Halloween!

I know it is not Lush Monday today, but seeing as it is Halloween, I thought I would do a Halloween special, and review the Pumpkin Bubble Bar. You can buy it HERE, on the LUSH website. Quick before it disappears! ;)
Pumpkin is a really cute Bubble Bar, that is exactly like the Mumkin Bubble Bar from the Mother's Day collection. I really love the scent, I really don't know how to describe it, it's not sweet nor musky. However, it's featured ingredient is Ylang Ylang Oil and Orange Flower. On the Lush website, it says it shares the same Autumnal Fragrance of 'Figs and Leaves' Soap, so you can imagine the smell from that.
Pumpkin produces tons and tons of soft Bubbles, which make your skin feel super smooth afterwards. The smell also lingers on your Skin, but not for very long, as it is not a strong scent nor will fill up the Bathroom.

It does turn the Water a vivid Orange colour, which is just perfect for Halloween! It is lovely to bathe in and you can get about 4 Baths out of this. This adorable little Pumpkin was the perfect Halloween treat this morning. For £2.75, you really can't go wrong. You must buy it before it disappears!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed!

The Spooktacular TAG! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Seeing as it is Halloween tomorrow, today I am going to be doing 'The Spooktacular TAG', I did this last year which you can read HERE. However, Meg from vintagelovehearts tagged me to do it, so I thought I would do an updated version this year!

Questions:

1. Do you still Trick or Treat?
No not anymore, I never really 'Trick or Treated', when I was little. Only to like my neighbours and stuff. I won't be going Trick or Treating this year either.

2. Do you like going to haunted attractions?
I have never been to any proper Halloween haunted attractions, but I would absolutely love to go to one! I think they would be so much fun, and I think I would definitely go on Halloween!

3. Favourite Halloween Candy?
I won't be eating any 'Candy', this year because of my Braces, but I love them 'Fizzers', that you get in Halloween sweet packets. They are my favourites, but you also can't beat a good lollipop!

4.  Favourite Halloween movie?
I never actually watched a Halloween movie! I know last year I said I would watch 'Hocus Pocus', but I still haven't. I'm afraid, I do not have an answer for this question.

5. Favourite Scary Movie?
I've never really watched any Scary Movies, that is bad. However, I watched the Woman in Black and I thought that was really good, even though it's not really that scary.
6. Favourite costume you ever wore as a Child?
Last year I said my favourite Costume was a Cat outfit, so this year I will say something different. I really liked my Outfit when I dressed up as a Devil. Me and my Cousin had matching outfits, it was basically Black Leggings, with a Red Tutu, Black Top, Red Gloves, Red Devil Ears that we clipped into our Hair, and a Red Devil Cane thing. I do have a picture, but I think we will save that for another day...haha.

7. First Costume you remember wearing?
I don't remember the first Costume I wore, but it definitely would have been something along the lines of a Witch. Probably a Creepy Mask, Green Spider Tights, Witches hat, and like a Witches dress.

8. Favourite Fall Food and Beverage?
My favourite Beverage would be Hot Chocolate, with Cream and Marshmallows. I actually haven't had one yet this year! Shock horror! My favourite Fall Food is probably anything Chocolately, like Muffins/Cookies/Cakes, e.t.c.

9. Do you have a festive background on your Phone?
Nope, sadly not! It is a picture of my Dog haha!

10. What are you going to dress up as this year?
As I said earlier, I'm not going 'Trick or Treating', but, if I was, I would probably dress up as a Witch or something?

11. What would your Pinecone be? (or your Pet!)
I would dress my Dogs in like Pumpkin Costumes, with little Pumpkin Slippers to put on their feet, and for my Rabbits, I think they would look cute with little Witch Hats on their head. Getting a bit too into this question...

12. What candy do you have left in your stash after you eat everything else?
Drumstick Lollies, I love every single Lollipop but I just don't like Drumstick Lollies, so I never eat them and my Mum or Sister will eat them instead.

13. Do you decorate your house?
We used to do some Window Displays, with like the Pumpkin, a light up Ghost, a Witches house, and Halloween Stickers. We sometimes even put Halloween Balloons up. Now, we don't decorate the House, we only carve a Pumpkin and put that in the Window.

14. Pumpkin Patches, Corn Mazes, or Hayrides?
I've never been to any of them, but I think the Pumpkin Patches sound really fun, and I would love to go to one of them!

15. Going to a Corn Maze, what do you wear?
I've never been to a Corn Maze, but if I were to go, I would wear Jeans, Hoodie, Boots, Scarves, Hat, and a warm Coat! :)
So that's all the Questions for 'The Spooktacular TAG'. That is always a fun one to write! I love doing TAGs, and seeing as we are getting near the Festive Season (eek!), I am looking forward to doing Christmas TAGS, and, Winterlicious TAGS.

Thanks for reading, and, I hope you enjoyed!

Lush: Avobath Bath Bomb Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

It's Lush Monday! Today I am going to be reviewing 'Avobath Bath Bomb'. I used this, this morning and thought it was lovely. You can buy it HERE on the LUSH website.
Avobath is a Mint Green Bath Bomb, which is one of the larger ones. It also has 'Lush' engraved on the top of it. It smells really nice, it is a really refreshing scent, which wakes you up in the morning. It's featured ingredient is Fresh Organic Avocado. The smell definitely lingers on the skin afterwards, as it is quite strong and fills up the Bathroom too.
As imagined, Avobath fizzes away quickly and turns the Bath a lovely Green colour, it's a bit like a Mint Green, which pleases me. I did think there would be some 'Popping Candy', as whilst it fizzed away it released some things that did look like Popping Candy, but unfortunately they were not Popping Candy. It did however, make my Skin super, super soft.

For £3.25, I don't think I would buy it again. Just because it's not very exciting, but quite expensive. It was interesting to try though, and I do recommending trying it for the first time.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed!

AUTUMN! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday are my uploading days, and I really had no idea what to upload today. I have been thinking all day and it's been really stressing me out! I was going to leave it and not upload today, but I felt I couldn't do that seeing as I did miss a week at the beginning of the month. I think because we are getting to the end of the month, I am loosing motivation. I am also worried as this time last year, I did loose my Blog motivation.

However...seeing as we are in Autumn now, and everything Autumn has occured, I thought why not type 'Autumn' into Pinterest, and show you some of my favourite pictures. So, here goes...
autumn road
One of the most exciting things I have ever seen was a great horned owl in the woods while out on an Autumn drive. We stopped the car, got out and watched until several minutes later he flew away silently through the trees. I will never forget it.
I don't even know what these all are, but they spell AUTUMN to me!
♥
Pumpkin Pals
.In winter I think spring will be my salvation, and in summer I think autumn, and in autumn winter, it is always the same, I hope from one season to the next.
fall harvest time includes pumpkins Spa Week $50 Treatment #spaweekfall2013
Autumn = this is why we usually go to North Carolina for my birthday. The leaves are stunning and well worth the drive.
Ready for cold weather and hot chocolate!

Fall Leaves a.k.a. the greatest outdoor entertainment known to man. *crunch*

I could have picked so many more Autumnal pictures, but I thought I would keep it at 12, what a random number. I love all these pictures, and I hope they got you in the Autumnal mood!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed!

Lush Haul #4! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So today I am going to be doing another Lush Haul. I believe this is the 4th one, but it could be 5th, so please feel free to correct me and I will update! On this day, a year ago, I wrote my 1st Lush Haul post, and I think that is where my love for Blogging about Lush started. Today is quite special, so I wanted to do another Lush haul, with 2 Halloween and 2 Christmas Products, just like last year! I may do it next year too, haha. You can read last year's Post HERE, please don't laugh at it, as I know it is bad! Link to the Lush website HERE. Let's begin...
First is Bombardino, how cute is this?! The thing that drew me to it the most was it's cuteness, and also it's a new Christmas product for this years range, so of course I had to try it! It also smells lovely and apparently works wonders for your skin, which is much needed at this cold time of the year. I'm looking forward to trying this and it was only £2.50, what a bargain! You can buy it HERE
Next up is Christmas Eve. This was available last year, and I loved it, so I had to go and buy it again, and this time before Christmas Eve, as that is when I think I will use it. It smells amazing, and I believe the colours are a bit different from last time? However, it is just the perfect little treat and was only £2.95. You can buy it HERE!
Next is Lord of Misrule. This Bath Ballistic has been talked about quite a lot as to be amazing, so obviously I could not miss it. It did come out with the Halloween stuff, but I think it is staying for Christmas, and then until next Spring. A bit like 'The Enchanter' from last year. This looks like it does amazing stuff in the Bath, and smells so nice. A bit more expensive than the others, this is £3.30, and you can buy it HERE!
Finally is this cute little thing. I welcome to you, the Pumpkin Bubble Bar. Just like the Mumkin Bubble Bar from the Mother's Day range, but this time in Pumpkin form. How could I not pick this up when it is so cute? I actually want it to be real. It also smells amazing and I am going to be using it and reviewing it on Halloween on Thursday, so look out for that! It is £2.75, which isn't too bad either! You can buy it HERE

So that is my Lush Haul! I really hope you enjoyed it, these are my most favourite posts to write. I have a few Halloween themed posts coming out next week, 3 to be specific, so stay tuned for them! Not sure what to post on Sunday though, comment ideas? Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed.

Bourjois Colour Boost: '02 Fuchsia Libre' Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Today I thought I would do a beauty review as I have not done one in a while. I think my most favourite beauty products are Lip products, and that is what I am going to be reviewing today. So today, I am going to be reviewing the Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayons, in '02 Fuchsia Libre'.
My most favourite thing about it, is that it is like a Crayon/Pen, so you can get precise application to the Lips. Being someone with small Lips, it is always quite difficult to confidently use a Lipstick or a Lip Gloss without a mirror. Therefore this is really handy, as it is sort of like colouring your Lips really precisely in.

I also really love the colour. It is quite pigmented, but sheer at the same time. It is a bright Fuchsia Pink and looks really bold on the Lips. The colour has a really good staying power for a good number of hours. It adds a glossy finish, and not a matte one, which is good because I prefer a glossy finish. Whilst being glossy, they are not sticky at all, so don't worry, your Hair is not going to end up sticking to your Lips.

It also doesn't take any moisture out of the Lips, but I can't say I've noticed that it adds any moisture to the Lips either. It also doesn't stain the Lips, which is an added bonus. There is no added taste/scent to them either, so you don't have to worry about no disgusting tastes in your mouth afterwards.

For £7.99, you really can't go wrong. They are a perfect little dupe for the Clinque Chubby Sticks, and something really worth purchasing. They have a lovely pigmentation, colour, and glossy finish, whilst staying on the Lips for a long time. You can pick them up HERE on the BOOTS website, and there are 6 colours to choose from. There is something for everyone!

Thanks for reading this review, and I hope you enjoyed it and found it useful!

Happy One Year Blog Birthday! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

A year ago on the 22nd October 2012, on a cold, rainy day, debating whether to upload a Blog Post or not, Believe In Beauty was born. I can't believe it has been a whole year, it's gone so quickly. Today I have decided to have a little Birthday party for my little Blog.
Aw, look at my little Cake to celebrate, how cute is it?!

Although, at the start of my Blog, I didn't post much and I don't have a lot of followers today, I am proud of my Blog. I'm happy with my 8 followers, and I'm happy at the direction I steered my Blog in. Obviously there has been times in this year when I took a Blogging break, but I always returned and I'm proud of myself for doing that. I am grateful for the amount of Followers I have, and I hope you like the content I produce.

I also like how now I have a consistent uploading schedule, and that I mostly manage to keep on top of it. I love my little Blog, and excited to see what Posts I produce in the year ahead.

Lush: Karma Bubble Bar Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So we are fully back into the swing of Monday Lush reviews, and today I am going to be reviewing 'Karma' Bubble Bar, which you can buy on the LUSH website HERE
Here is Karma Bubble Bar, as you can see it is a good sized Orange and Red Bubble Bar. Karma, has a really interesting scent. I would describe it as 'soapy', but Karma's featured ingredient is 'Sweet Orange Oil'. You can kind of smell a hint of Orange, but not too much. What I would say though, is Karma is quite a strong scent when in the Bath, and will linger on your Skin and in the Bathroom air. I personally like this though.
The bubbles that it produces, are very soft and there are tons and tons of them. The water gets turned smooth, and leaves your Skin feeling smooth and nourished. As well as soft skin and lots of bubbles, it also tints the Bath Water Orange. I really like the colour and it is quite bright! You get 4-5 Baths out of the Bubble Bar, which is really good for only £3.25.

So overall, I really like Karma Bubble Bar. It smells nice, tints the Bath water orange, is only £3.25, it produces lots of Bubbles and leaves your Skin very smooth and nourished. What's not too like?

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed.

The Autumn TAG! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

A while ago now, vintagelovehearts tagged me in her Autumn TAG post. Seeing as we are fully into Autumn now, I thought I would do that TAG today! Onto the Questions...

Questions:

1. Favourite thing about it?

My favourite thing about Autumn is that it starts to get Colder, so you can whip out all your Knitted Jumpers, Scarves, Coats, Boots, e.t.c, but also that it gets closer to Christmas, and the build up is just so exciting. I also like how you can smell the Autumn scent in the air and of course...Halloween!

2. Favourite Drink?

Autumn is the season where you can finally start to enjoy Hot drinks again! I love coming home from School, and having a lovely drink of Hot Chocolate, with Cream and Marshmallows, oh it's so nice!

3. Favourite Scent/Candle?

My Mum recently got a new Yankee Candle, which was called 'Blissful Autumn', and the scent just sums up Autumn to me, it's so nice.

4. Best Lipstick?

I don't really wear Lipsticks, but I love wearing the Maybelline Baby Lips, in, 'Cherry Me', it's a nice dark Pink, slightly going into Red colour, and a colour I see perfect for Autumn.
I Love and do all these activities, especially baking apple and pumpkin goods and drinking Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte. I love every thing about Autumn Except Maybe the cold weather and going back to school.
Sums up Autumn too me!
5. Go to moisturiser?

I love the Clean and Clear, dual action moisturiser. It's really moisturising and quickly gets rid of the dry skin. It's one I used last Winter, but put away in the Summer.

6. Go to colours for the eyes?

I don't wear Eye shadow, but I think the best colours for this time of year are darker colours, like browns, coppers, bronzes (all three basically the same thing haha), but also a nice neutral eye look is nice for Autumn as well.

7. Favourite music or band/singer to listen too?

I've recently started listening to Frank Ocean, and have actually been enjoying his songs! My favourite are, 'Lost', and, 'Think Bout You', there so good!

8. Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo?)

I like wearing cosy knitted Aztec Leggings, with a nice wooly/knitted Jumper, and my pair of Tramp Boots. I will also throw on a nice knitted Scarf and a Coat and then my outfit is complete.

9. Autumn treat?

I always like to treat myself to nice wooly/knitted Jumpers, and new dark, Nail Varnish colours.

10. Favourite place to be?

At home, on my Laptop, in nice cosy clothing, and a Hot Chocolate. Mmm, that sounds like perfection to me! ;)
Pumpkin is upon us for Fall season
I hope you enjoyed this TAG, it was really fun to write. Thanks to Meg for tagging me! I TAG anyone who wants to do this, it's so much fun!

OOTD: Non-Uniform! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

Even though I did an OOTD about a week ago, I thought I would do another one today as it was Non-Uniform at School, and I liked my Outfit.
For my Jeans, I chose my most favourite pair of Jeans, and these are the dark-acid wash Leigh Jeans from Topshop. I wear them quite a lot and love them too bits! I am also wearing a pair of the Topshop frilly Socks in a Grey colour. You can't really see my Nails clearly, but I have on Barry M Matte in '336 Crush'.
For the top half of my body, I am wearing my Topshop lacy top, (with the cutest collars ever), tucked into my Jeans. Over the top of my lacy top, I have put on my Pink cropped Knitted Jumper from Topshop. It's so cute and I love it!
I have left my collar out of my Jumper, and I think it looks really cute. I think the Jumper would look boring without it.
So that is my full outfit. I liked it today, so thought I would share it with you!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed!

Nail Designs: Confetti Nails! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

It's been about 2 months since we had our last 'Nail Designs', post. I've got to be honest and say I did forget about this series. However, I have another Nail Design post going up in a couple of weeks.

Today's Nail Design, is really easy (that's what we like in this series), but also really effective at the same time. I am going to show you had to get this look today.
Step 1: Pick your favourite Nail Varnish colour. I have chosen a selection of colours, to show you that this Nail Design works with all sorts of colours. I have some bright/fluorescent colours, pastel colours and dark colours.
Step 2: Then pick a 'confetti' Nail Varnish. I have a greeny/yellowy/blue one from Sally Hansen, and a Pink one from Barry M. The Barry M one is cheapest though.
This is what the 'Confetti' Nail Varnishes look like on their own...really pretty! From left to right is is the Sally Hansen one, and then the Barry M one.
Step 3: Then just paint your 'Confetti' Nail Varnish over your original colour, and it's as simple as that! As you can see, both of the 'Confetti' Nail Varnishes work with any type of colour, so you can go as crazy as you want with this look.

So that's it in 3 steps! It looks super pretty and really effective. The only down side is that it is a pain to get off afterwards...argh.

Thanks for reading, and hope you enjoyed!

October Glossybox 2013! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So on Saturday, my October Glossybox arrived at my door and I thought I would show you the contents I got in it this month. For October, the theme of the box is 'Dark Romance'.

 This Box includes:

1. Impress 'Broadway' Nails: I really like the Impress Nails, and have tried some other types before. I'm looking forward to giving these a whirl, and will probably wear them around Christmas and the party season. Full size: £7.99.

2. MeMeMe Cherub's Blush- Cheek and Lip Tint: I've been wanting to try a Cheek tint for a while now, but have always been put off as I see them as something quite scary. Hopefully, I will start to wear it and get good at applying it. It also claims it is 'long lasting', hmm, will have to see about that! Full size 12ml: £5.50.

3. Katy Perry Killer Queen Fragrance: 'A new, striking fragrance from Katy Perry shows her rebellious spirit'. This is just a mini perfume sampler, but smells amazing. I really, really like this Perfume and have actually asked for it, for Christmas. The scent is quite sweet and a type of scent that is my favourite. Full size 50ml: £29.50

4. Premae Multi-Vit Smoothie Serum: This is a serum for combination skin: blended with Grapeseed, the unique formula helps to soothe redness and hydrate the skin. It also helps to keep it matte, and shine free. I have oily skin around my Nose and Chin, so looking forward to try this out and seeing if it makes any difference to my Skin. It is also going to be good for the Cold, Winter, months ahead of us. Full size 50ml: £22.50.

5. Monu Illuminating Primer: This Primer is paraben free, and helps to brighten the complexion, add instant sheen and enhance your natural radiance. Other ingredients included, such as Vitamin E, to detoxify the Skin and Cassia Alata Leaf Extract, to protect and prevent skin, against UV damage. I've never really tried an illuminating Primer before, so I am expecting good things from this and excited to try it! Full size 50ml: £24.95.

I love writing about Glossyboxes and will be sad when my 3-month subscription ends in November. I hope you enjoyed, and thanks for reading!

Next 'Cashmere' Perfume! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So I really like doing posts on Perfumes, so today I thought I would tell you about another new perfume I have. I got this for my Birthday, and really like it. The Perfume I am going to be talking about today is one by Next, and it is called 'Cashmere'.
This isn't a scent I would normally opt for. I like fruity/sweet/floral scents, and this scent is quite musky, but sweet at the same time. I actually really love the scent, and when I wear it, I can usually always smell it on my self. I wouldn't say it has the best staying power, you may want to top it up during the day.

I would say it is the perfect Perfume for this time of the year though. I associate the scent with Autumn and Winter, and I will definitely be using this throughout those seasons. I'll be sad to put it down when it comes back to the Spring/Summer months.

It is also a really cheap Perfume. For 30ml it is £7.50, and for 75ml, it is £12.00. You can purchase it HERE on the NEXT website.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed!

Lush: Big Blue Bath Ballistic Review! | Believe In Beauty

Hey!:)

So, I will start with an apology. Sorry for no Blog Posts last week, on Monday and Tuesday my Wifi was broken, and it put me all behind schedule. I also had a lot of School work, and was quite busy, so I had to take a Blogging break. But don't worry, as the 4 posts I missed last week, will mean there is a post every day this week, and 2 bonus posts towards the end of the month. Is that okay?

Anyway, today we are finally back to normal Lush reviews. Today I have chosen to review the Big Blue Bath Ballistic. One I am not entirely fond of, but thought I should review it anyway. You can pick it up from the LUSH website HERE. Now onto the review...
Here is Big Blue, as you can see it is a bright Blue Bath Ballistic, and is one of the larger ones. Big Blue is priced at £3.25, which I personally do not agree with. As you can also see, Big Blue has tiny bits of 'seaweed', sticking out of it. At first I thought they were interesting, but not so much afterwards... However, Big Blue smells really nice, and it's really refreshing scent. I also noticed it stayed on my Skin afterwards, I kept getting wafts of it. Big Blue's featured ingredient is Arame Seaweed, interesting?!
As soon as Big Blue goes into the Bath, it starts to fizz. It fizzes really quickly, and releases a bright Blue colour. The colour is just like the Sea, which I think the Bath Ballistic is based on. It's a really nice colour, and sort of reminds you like your on Holiday, sitting on the Beach by the Sea! I was quite worried that it would stain my Bath, as it is such a bright Blue colour, but there was no Blue residue afterwards.
However, I did not like the Seaweed, and this is the reason I will not be re-purchasing it. It is disgusting, and makes you feel really uncomfortable sitting in the Bath with all this Seaweed surrounding you. It also is a nightmare to get down the plug hole afterwards!

So, I would not buy this again, just because I didn't like the Seaweed, it was pretty gross, and it is way overpriced at £3.25. If you can put up with the Seaweed, well done you!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed.
